Life time token?

Hello Brothers,

As cars upto 1000cc can pay Life Time Token. I want to know is it compulsory or optional. Means right now my car's token is paid till June/July 2013. So if I pay token only for one year .i.e. upto July 2014, then still I need to pay Life Time Token?

In Multan, I see many police mobile van stopping cars (upto 1000cc) and asking them (zabardasti) to submit life time token or get fined and document seized.

So the question is if my car's token is paid till 2014. Then still I need to pay fine for "not paying Life Time Token"?

PS: News: Due to new Taxes the life time token is increased to Rs.17,700/-

i own a mehran 2004 and now this month i want to get the token paid. is it compulsory that for life time token you have to pay 10000??

Lala g if ur token is paid till 2014 or have the time remaining from expiry of token then you have no need to pay it till its expired but after expiry you have to pay for life time.

And according to goverment rules now its being compulsory
For 800 cc total amount is about near to 12500 and the minus the actual rupees you have paid before lifetime from this amount

Ah sir how are you ? So means this time I need to pay Life Time Token and cannot pay token for one year only?

you mean to say if my total amount paid in terms of token has reached 12500 then i dont have to pay token anymore?

In case of vehicles more than 4 years old they have a fixed amount about near to 8000.but this thing not confirmed by myself because my driver told me that.

I would have to go to excise office? and where it is situated in lahore? I have heard that one office is near some where in mazang (gain mandar), 2nd is at jinnah avenue, near walton road, plz help.....

Lootmaar lagi hui hai is mulk mai, in logo ko pata hai inki hukumat ziada tym nahi chalne wali or paise to ab khaane k lie kuch bache nai hain is lie har kism kay tax laga kar loot rahe hain logon ko takey jald se jald pait bhar jae... Khud apni zamino ka tax dene lag jaen to ye mulk kuch saalon main tax free hojaega.....

Where did you submitted the token? In Excise Office? What was the procedure?

^^ You are right, the "NEW" govt. has increased Life Time Income tax from Rs.750/- to Rs.7500/-

No , 7500 is life time INCOME Tax (which is introduce in this year , Last year ppl. only paid Life time TOKEN Tax"
