Spent the whole day yesterday correcting the paint work and detailing the car. I normally take 2 days to do the full detailing since I work with my hands and not a polisher but thankfully my brother and cousin decided to help so 9 hours was all we needed.
Got the car washed from Total Service. Since I was gonna do the paint correction, I told them it was ok to use surf shampoo but to get to every inch of the cars hidden spots and remove all the dirt and grim. It was also ok for them to blow air inside the cabin (which under normal circumstances is wrong but again, the interior was gonna be detailed at home so no worries).
Next up, Then Engine. The engine was pretty clean but not great, thus 2 applications of Astonish engine degreaser, each time agitating the dirt with a 2" detailing brush. Had to let the engine cool down for atleast 2 hours before doing this step since you will end up with white residue on the engine. Covered all the plastic parts with Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care and the metal parts with Blackfire Paint Sealant.
The interior matting was cleaned with STP TUFF STUFF while the Dash+Seats+Door Trims+ ABC pillars were all cleaned using ChemicalGuys citrus based APC. The interior was than vacuumed ensuring no dirt was left behind. All the plastics were than protected by Meguiars Natural Shine Protectant.
The Tires & Wheels. The wheels were cleaned using Astonish Wheel Cleaner. The tires were cleaned using left over Autoglym shampoo mixture in the bucket using a mf mitt. The tires got a coating of Autoglym Tire Dressing while the wheels got a layer of Blackfire Paint Sealant.
Finally the paint. This car was kept with care but it being a used car, I had to make sure the paint was in top notch condition. After the service wash, got the car home and washed it with AG Shampoo. Got the Magic Clay Bar and clayed the whole car. Dont have any pictures of the bar but the kind of dirt stuck to the paint of a 8 year old car is quite disgusting. The light blue bar had turned very dark by the end of the claying step. Washed the car again with AG Shampoo and dried it using a mf cloth.
The car got a full treatment of AG Paint Renovator. This a strong abrasive and should be used very gently. Even without a polisher, this manages to remove a hell lot of swirls and scratches. Once this process was done, time to move to AG Super Resin Polish. I have said it before and I will say it again, this is absolutely one of the best polishes out there. It goes on easily, spreads like butter and wipes away without any hesitation. Finally, The car got a coating of Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Sealant which was left for6 hours after application and is still curing for the 8 hour duration.
The windows were polished using Autoglym Car Glass Polish, All the exterior black trims were treated with AutoGlym Bumper & Trim Gel and The headlights were restores using Meguiars PlastX.
There wont be alot of pictures since I was busy trying to get the car done but I do have a few pics and will upload more when the car is ready after the curing period IA.

- The car is still wearing the sealant in the pictures so it may look dull. Also, my camera su*ks
And alot of the detailing items were scattered so you find everything on that chair
And that cosmic box has screws in it so yes, I would never use that sh*t
