Comparison: Suzuki Swift & Honda city (2010)

AoA Pakwheelers......m quite impressed from the shape of new suzuki swift & honda city....i m very much likin the agressive & futuristic looks of these cars....interior & xterior of new Swift is also quite impressive.... & 1.3litre Dohc engine producin 92hp with only 1040kgs is even more temptin....since now ive got my hands on both the new City & New Swift so thought to share a review for the fellow pakwheelers who are lookin for value for their money.... below r the pix of comparison:

Now coming to the Engine:

Swift: it has a 1.3litre dual overhead camshaft(DOHC) engine producin 92hp

City: it is equipped with 1.3litre iVTEC Single overhead camshaft(SOHC) engine producin 98hp

weight:

City: 1150 Kg
Swift:1040 Kg

Odometer:

City:It has a glowin meter with auto dimmer when headlights r switched on,its meter has a fuel average,Range & instantanious average indicator too

Swift: it has a normal odometer with 4 guages i.e Speed,RPM,fuel & engine's temrature guage,the only thing about the meter worth mentioning is that its brightness can be adjusted manually upto 4 levels

Now comin to the interior:

Swift: the quality of plastic material is upto the mark with beautifully designed interior,it has chrome door handles and chrome borders on the side A/c ventilators....the car is equipped with JVC 2-Din pre with aux option,furthermore it also 4 speakers with fine sound quality...

City: The plastic quality of City is not as good as that of Swift,it is equiped with Alpine's single Din CD/mp3 player with 2 speakers with better sound quality,the centre console's design isnt eye catchin though...

it much depends upon the preferences bro ,the shape of city from front is relatively better & more eye catchin but from back it is not that gud,it has an advantage of havin bigger trunk & more room space though...

now comin to Swift,accordin to me its more value for money as we get Foglights,AlloyRims & better Bridgestone tyres & central lockin with keyless entry with much lesser price,not to forget it also has Abs jus like city which makes its handlin & brakin gud too

I m currently usin City as my personal car & m very much satisfied with it,but the above mentioned things were a must have for a 1.3million rupee car accordin to me....

Nice comparison..but I think Its better to buy city oer swift...It is more comfortable,Roomy and has a pretty sexy shape.....Like U can impress ur girlfriend by city very easily...

a gud way to compare both of the cars but its no better then comparing a city to a Cultus.

There 2 different categories of cars. plus we even have a Liana (all 3 variants) between Swift and City.

Preferences such as should i go for a City or should i go for a Swift and a Mehran or Cultus and a Mehran do count but City vs Swift im not realy sure.
