A humble request to ALL HONDA OWNERS and HONDA ATLAS' "KAARINDAY" ... STOP POLLUTING the minds of innocent public against Yamaha... YBR though very rightly cannot achieve a top speed of 145kph bt that doesnt mean that it becomes a turtle on a climb after 90kph.

I am a proud owner of GS150, but am really happy to see YBR (both versions) revving here and there around me. The reason I introduced my ride is that I keep on clearing the doubts of CG owners (on long and short hauls ) whenever I find one... and trust me CG only claims tall... It's all show (dug dugg) and no go (whether in race, comfort, style, safety, durability, quality, looks, technology)

Man I certainly do not have a proof but if you'd talk ill of Yamaha on its very thread and would want to buy Honda on Yamaha's very thread... What do you think???

And when most of what you claim might have been just an experience peculiar to you...

    @Zigi

At the moment Yamaha mechanics are totally untrained

if you support Yamaha so much you please take any friends YBR and take to any yamaha mechanic

    you will get answers

abhi mechanics ko tune up bhi ni karna ata

aur shyde aap ne comments gor se parhey ni

i wrote everywhere that bike is good, comfortable and smooth but after sales services, mechanics's behavior and spare parts will stop

    yamaha's growth

Sir g... You are right but we were too young to experience the same phase of Honda. And as for Suzuki it still is having its mechanics in the readying phase... Else the famous SAFEER known from Khi to Pindi, havent found many who knows how to tackle the machine.

But let the company settle and till that time, appreciate for stepping in with this beauty...

Moreover OHC engines are not mechanic hungry like OHVs... We are used of TUNING UP... AWAIN... Tu mechanic se zyada hmara qasur hai... I new byk only needs tightenting of all the bolts, changing of oil etc... Hm jb sb kuch check krwain gai tu mechanic tu aap ki byk se he sb kuch seekhay ga na!!!

And no hard feelings... I have been reading such comments k Parts bht mehngay hn, Bike aisi hai, Bike waisi hai...

But nobody is realizing k Honda k original parts na sirf mehengay hn (not as much as Yamaha but according to their quality) balkay byk ko perfectly tune krnay walay mechanic b VERY RARE hn... All my frnds own Hondas... N are complaining repeatedly k mechanic ripped them off... And now their bikes are not performing as they did or theor CGs cant go beyond 95kph...

I totally refute all the claims of YBR owners that it goes till 145kph but that sorta claims are being made by CG 125 owners as well k ISHARA KHULA n sb bikes rear view mirror me... They even claim they beat GS150 easily... N I myt accept the claim but without the "EASY" part..

As far as myn is concerned, it THRASHES CGs like chaff...

I know YBR's slow than the CG, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it. Top speed isn't the only thing, there are a lot more things like comfort, style and quality. CG's have been mostly same since decades! Yamaha's the only company in Pakistan trying to bring a change, but some people just don't understand that. I don't blame them, everybody has their own choices , but don't spoil Yamaha's reputation by saying things that aren't true. Peace.

If by UNCLES' bike, you meant a bike that can feel quite robust and handle like a gem tau I agree... Dnt want to make this thread a GS vs YBR or any other bike... It'll be disgrace of either

I bought CG125 in 1993, I kept a 1991 non-cdi model too, I have driven GS-150 new, I can say it with confidence that the:
    1.Feel,
    2.the Grip,
    3.the Acceleration,
    4.the Control

the old classic frame of CG125 has, no other bike has it, In Pakistan, it is 2nd only to CD200, I still have a CD200 in my store
