Hello guys
yesterday i swapped the stock Osram Bilux in my City 12 with PIAA 15224 Xtreme White Plus in my City as i have never been happy with the light output of the stock bulb from my car. before i explain about my experience so far, here is a short note on my previous two bulb experiences
Car : Toyota Platz 2003
Bulbs Installed : Osram Night Breaker H4
Price : 24 pounds
Verdict :
I installed Osram nightbreakers in my 2003 platz back in 2009 to get better light output despite the fact that the stock halogen in it was wonderful. the bulb was rated to produce 30 percent more white light and 100 percent more intensity. However, when i installed the bulb, i was kind of disappointed. output at low beam was kind of OK and a lil whitish, but the problem was basically on high beam as the light most prolly touched 6000 K and dispersed, hence giving a pathetic light on high beam. the bulbs did last long and finally one of them fried after almost 2 years
Car : Honda City 2012
Bulbs Installed : Philips Xtreme Vision H4
Price : 32 pounds
Verdict : After the purchase of my City last year, i found out that the standard Osram Bilux halogens provided with the car were simply pathetic in their output, specially at high beam but that was because of the light design i guess. on high beam, the near visibility is simply almost nill. this time, i went for Philips Xtreme Vision H4 for the car. I found that these bulbs are better than the stock halogens. they certainly produced more light because i even compared them standing next to next with another City in our house. the light was very little whitish in shade, and even at higher beam it wasnt that bad. however, just after 8 months, one of the bulbs expired because of which i switched back to the OEM bulbs.
Car : Honda City 2012
Bulbs Installed : PIAA 15224 Xtreme White plus H4
Price : 75 dollars
Verdict : Finally i happened to bump across these bulbs over internet and thought to give the a try. the earlier two bulbs i for from www.powerbulbs.com.uk and these ones i have arranged from USA, with utmost thanks to @fazalwahab11375 who ordered them for me and shipped them across. as my experience with the previous two bulb sets with respect to the claimed better visibility and output power wasnt that fascinating, i was pretty apprehensive about these bulbs as well. however, the feedback and customer review on these bulbs over the internet was fantastic, therefore i thought to give it a go. and this time i can say YES, the results are simply stunning and fantastic. the bulbs are distinctly white in their output and are extremely white in colour. the road at low beam literally glows infront of u, way way way better than the stock bulbs, and much better than philips xtreme vision H4. PIAA has finally won my heart and from now on these would be my permanent choice. the good part is that despite the fact that the light is white, even at high beam it doesnt disperse and the visibility is simply superb. When the low beam is on, there is a very distinct bluish shade which comes within the headlight and that gives the car a very very seksy look a one hundred percent must buy for the ones who want to style their cars, alongwith getting a superb light output. basically the bulbs which are only for styling arent good for light output, and vice versa, but this one is a PERFECT balance of both. here is the rundown of the events leading me to buy these bulbs
PS : Remember, these are the bulbs which are simply SWAPPED from the standard H4. they work on the same wattage as the standard halogens i.e. 55/60 Watts for low and high beam respectively. the science is all within the gases captured inside the bulbs and their composition, which results in much much brighter light. RESULT. no need to install any relay, doesnt harm the wiring, doesnt harm the ligh housing or the plastic lens. totally road legal all over the world
this is the website from where i found them and selected the shade/trim of the bulbs for my car
PIAA | Halogen
amongst these, i googled all of them for the cutomer reviews and these were by far the most preferred ones
here are the pictures now sorry for bad lighting but this is the best i cud get them
