Project Named as "Pocket Rocket" .... Updated
I have been looking quite long for an [B]SUV/Off[/B] roader and after Finally decided to go for the Pajero [B]SWB[/B] [B]first generation[/B]. But its really hard now a days to find 1st Gen. [B]SWB[/B] Pajero in good condition, But with the Grace of Allah we are able to get custody of Fairly good condition Pajero. our dear fellow member salman ([B]salman_m5[/B]) really helped me through his valuable discussion in my decision.
But to get it 100% ready for our expedition/adventure i have decided to upgrade/Restore it some what and to make it maximum dependable and multi purpose vehicle .and most important thing is that every work done on this will be D.I.Y at my home.so it may take longer than usual but to prepare a SUV with your own hands has its own charm.
i will keep updating the Thread as the Progress continues.
The wish List Include:-
Body Restoration :-
Luckily the Body is in its original Condition with very very little work to do on it .But have restored minor dents and other minor Issues and restore it to the maximum stock shape and condition.
Have changed many Plastic components and also replaced side view mirrors and some more minor work done.
Engine Upgradation:- (page 6)
Although The Mitsubishi Motor is O.K (:() but As i am always a Big Fan of Toyota ..so Finally able to Swap its Original Engine with Toyota one .and the new set up is working very very Great with excellent power to weight ratio and superb Fuel economy :).

Really after the swap the Performance is up to the mark and upto my satisfaction.
Turbo Charging & Intercooler addition:-
have Installed Toyota CT-9 turbo with O.E.M Pajero Intercooler.Interior Re-done/Upgrade:-
Interior is upgraded with lot of attention to the detail which includes
- Complete Swap of Seats to Gen-II with maximum Adjustable option and Foldable Hand Rests, even the rear Seats are adjustable as well.
- Cool Box/fridge is Added for Touring Requirements.
- A/C panels upgraded To Shogun one's.
- Sun Visors Upgraded
- Door Arm rests And Pockets Added. Page 2
- Have droped the idea of Converting Into PW because of Ruggedness constraint.
- level Meter is upgraded.

Winch :-
have Bought The Required Electric winch but the front Bumper need to be redesigned to Fit that Winch.
Suspension Restoration:-
Every Replaceable part is replaced to bring all suspension to the Required Level .
Steering assembly Restoration:-
All assemblies included in the steering is Updated and replaced to the the Perfection. Thanks to Mitsubishi cheap and readily available parts
Full Size Roof Carrier :-
As because of high Touring Needs have sourced a Full size roof Carrier but have to made special Custom made mounts to fit It securely and perfectly. Page 3
Snorkel:
Fitted on the Ride.
Safety :-
A Special anti roll bar and special Bumpers are planned to a add to the ride in near future.
