ok nice to know that if you are so sure about it ,
Vitara was a different deal , the just imported it pre-assembled and then launched it. so it failed miserably , because it would do no good to the consumer until it is actually assembled here , ( price wise ) as assembling here waives of 35% of your duties.
WAGON-r or alto , they plan to assemble here , and currently yes it is imaginable , as both these cars fall under the under 1 million mark the area where suzuki has the most demand , and they can easily sustain its assembly .
but KIZASHI , m afraid is a JUMP too big for them , they might be planning to import it and resell it like VITARA.
but i can never even imagine them ever assembling it here , like they plan to do it either with the WAGON-R or the alto .
about the engine , EURO 3 engine would cost them atleast 70k more , than the previous , and overall with the duties included would raise the price of alto by atleast 120k .... and this is what they dont want ...>> stretching the alto to around 850k
