The Best way for the Pakistani goverment to deal with respect to lifting the ban on imported vehicles is that There should be 0% import tax on car import and No duties at source .. It should be replaced with annual tax depending on car CC. That way our goverment will collect 100 times more tax revenue as compared to the present situation and car import will open a whole new side of oppertunity for car mechanics and car part vendor

But since such ideas are not presented becuse such ideas are not in the favor of 1 person such ideas favor the whole nation so we can forget about it .

When i was in Maldives.........there were no street cleaners. everyone was ordered to clear mess outside their homes. the roads automatically turned spotless in the mornings. also, Allah has never changed nations till they changed themselves. come into reality like Storm said. get rid of the 'nashistan, guftan, barkhastan' concept.

This will be another trap to rob money out of people's pocket. Don't expect that these old cars will be cheap. They'll let allow old models come in with a lot of import duty. Government bhee khush, importers bhee khush aur car manufacturers bhee khush.
