Ban will be lifted on import of 3 years old cars soon

I have only two words for this news item and that is B**L S**T. There's no way they can allow import without running the risk of valuable foreign exchange being squandered and misused. Also, the IMF will not allow such. Period. It seems the media is more speculative and irresponsible than the average person and given to flights of fancy. This is not the first 'news item' about this topic that has come to nothing , really. Sorry if i come across as blunt, but someone has to stop these media folks from printing anything they want to.

The largest media group of Pakistan has bid an offer for the tallest building in Pakistan....!! If they had done responsibly(the way you(we) like them to be)...then they could not had reached such heights!

If its lifted,It will definitely affect the market & prices will surely come down to some extent, but I fear that Pakistan will become a Junk yard or scrap yard of old cars within no time (if this ban lifts),
The government have to take necessary actions to lower the taxes on local car industry so that the prices come down, this will be better instead OF THAT^^

i think same happens with cars
just take merhan there will be many types of one car and prices every one might be able to afford a small car
like CD70 copies i think mehran made by local companies will sell like hot cakes
mafia will end
but our govt is just here to make its day with money in their pockets

meri samagh mein yeh nhi aata....kb pakistani awaam ka shaooor buland ho ga......local manufacturers ne 1 saal k ander 5o thousands se 5 lacs rupees tk cars ki prices ko increase kiya hai......hum loog yeh kyn chahtey hain k japanese aur germans gariyaan import hoon.....looog apna miyaar0e0zindegi buland kr rahey hain.....local manufacturers ko yeh baat samagh kyn nhi aati hai.....yahaan loog vitz ko bohat pasand kertey hain kyn because of its quality and comfotability.....local manufacturer aisi gari produce kyn nhi kertey......one thing more gyz keep it in your mind......local car producer are just assembler....so plz dont call him manufacturer.....imported gari zaroor aani chaheye.....

agr aap 18 lacs ki toyota corolla altis letay ho aur 18 lacs ki honda accord cl9 ya cl7 kya aap inn two cars ko compare kr saktey ho....offcourse not.....corolla ki life kum hai accord k muqabley mein.....
agr zero meter local corolla ya civic aap 2003 accord k sameney khari kr do tou accord ki condition inn se zada fresh ho gi.

... thats how these govt minsiters make millions, they just blackmail the car manufactures before budget, and when they fill their pockets simply keep the ban for the rest of the year.
in some cases they let the foreign cars to get in coz its another tool to mint bucks out of peoples money
