Coure CNG Mieilage

Hi all,

Can anyone owning Daihatsu Coure share about the mielage you get on your car?
I get around 120Km per fill (around 7.5 Kg) driving in the city (karachi), is this good average or i need to rectify the car?

What's the model of your Cuore? If it's not so old,has FF 50 L cylinder and your driving route doesn't include traffic jams, lot of signals, lot of stop and move short trips and you drive with soft foot at normal speed, your Cuore should give you 160-180 kms in the city in 7.5 kgs.

dear its 2007 model done almost 1 lac kms.
traffic in karachi is dense, a lot of braking and accelerating, roads are good and bad both.
Don't know about what cylinder size

My cuore ff everything, gives ~150km in one tank of cng. This includes the 6:00 sharah-e- faisal traffic and im a heavy footed driver..
No A/C.

How can I improve the mileage of my car, any suggestions please.

it should give at least 140 km with a/c in karachi crowdy streets, please visit to classic cng in gulshan block 3 for fine tuning ur car

Use clean air filter.
Dont put strain on the engine.( drive with a light foot)
Ensure that your cooling system is in proper working condition. i.e- Thermostat valve installed and fan is on auto. If it is not your engine with run like poop. Temp needle should reach the middle.
Use 5w-30 or 10w-40 oil.

Dear the fan is direct it work all along, so temperature needle remains on C (until I push the AC)
I use 10W40 Shell oil every 3000km and replace air filter every 6000km, also ocaassionaly cleans it too.
ABout the light foot, well I am heavy foot driver, will try light foot too.
Any suggestions sir.

Dear I once went to Gilani CNG on Jail CHowrangi, he said I'll servis your gas kit and cylinder for Rs 1200 and then mielage will improve, is it useful thing or not.
Can you give any idea what exactly the CLassic CNG guy would do to the car and how much will it cost?

Dear make the fan Auto. Cuore's cooling system is much better than those of mehran,alto and even cultus. Get your radiator and other connected items checked properly by a good mechanic. Try to drive in big gears, it will improve your mileage. Get your cuore tuned by a good CNG mechanic.You should aim for at least 150 kms within the city w/o AC.

I also Own a coure which gives me 145 to 150 KM in full tank

My daily route is from tower to sakhi hasan with dense traffic jam in peak hours

Both Classic CNG at Gulshan & Shah CNG next to Aladin park are very good at thier work

But dont ask mechanic for average just ask him to fine tune the car you will automatically have good mileage

always use soft pedal

Dear, I got my car tuned from Classic CNG last month and now i'm getting 160 Km per fill with mix ac and non ac driving in city.
