any one can tell what is OBD and where can we find this scanning in lhr?

It means On-board Diagnostic tool. It is available at most of the suzuki workshops.When attached to the car it will show all the data of the car and if there is any error it will show. It can also adjust the values of different parameters controlled by ECU like idle rate, fuel injection etc.

Info about mileage, i am getting 140KM to 145KM on 55KG cylinder with 98% AC on, i think it will get more better after reaching of 5000KM to 8000KM, my car has driven only 2000KM.

@uqc: bro rpm needle get stable after few seconds depending on the condition of engine like AC, power steering, clutch, breaks, lights etc, it keep fluctuate btw 800 to 1000 for few secs. Same is the case on petrol also

You are getting nice average but you got CNG installed too soon.You should have used it on petrol for 5000 at least.

@sdgor, your are somehow right, but let me share my mileage on petol, i was getting not more then 400KM on one full tank of 43 Liter, that is it will cost around Rs. 3,762/- that means 1KM requires Rs 9.40/-, more suppose you have driven 1000KM which will cost Rs. 9,406/- and 107.5 ltr of petrol. Assume petrol is Rs.87.5/ltr

Now on CNG, if i am getting 145KM in full tank of 55KG cylinder which cost Rs.500/-, then after 1000KM total cost will be Rs 3,450/- (More i dont know the exact price of per KG Gas but it requires 8.5KG of gas in 55KG cylinder, correct me if i am wrong)

Hence total saving, Rs. 5956/- in doing 1000KM, and after doing 5000KM ill going to save Rs. 30,000/-

bottomline, my daily travelling is near about 100KM, that is why i cant wait till 5000 KM and i will recover my CNG installation cost after doing 8000KM

You are getting good average and difference of 15-20 Km as compare to lahore is that Potohar region gas do more .... Thats my perception.

2ndly ya it fluctuates but very nominal when AC gets tripped and gets ON.
Do the suzuki service centres do suzki's non CNG vehicles OBD scan?

@uqc: OBD can be connected to any car which has ECU installed in it, any car with and without cng can be scanned by OBD.
Cars with CNG having lambda control system are tunned and scanned by LR software thorugh plugging computer into LC 01.

@hshakeem; its not always glowing. it only glows on while driving in rush hours in rushy places. it wont start glowing on moterway's, highway drive so the issue is not xactly running lean all the time

Normally that is the case. Engine runs lean at a certain RPM range. That is why ECU of engine and Sequential/Lambda cng kits adjust the fuel air mixture in real time based on readings from O2 sensor. Your kit is not doing that, hence 'check engine light'. Get a Lambda or Sequential kit other wise your engine will ruined.

or is there any chance of accord also get victim of this CNG?
Plz guide us that how much KM accord will take to ruin valves on BRC any figure u can give as u are gauging it in number of kilometers ?

I have a sequential kit. It has a Rs 35,000 ECU which takes the exhaust readings from O2 sensor and adjust the air fuel mixture many times in a second (just like the engine's ecu adjust petrol) and also at what time the fuel is injected in individual cylinder and at what pressure, taking also into account the MAP(manifold absolute pressure) i.e. suction pressure.
2ndly in my car's K24A4 engine the valve tappets are not self adjusting.
The km I quoted is the figure going around about new corolla which also has a self adjusting tappets.
Lean mixture ruins every engine but it can be devastating in engine with self adjusting tappets.

You cannot. That is why ECU, injectors, O2, Map & Air sensors are installed by car makers and also in the Lambda/Sequential cng kits.

read the quote in your post above, the guy writes that sensors go through the LC01 thats why no lights pop up. its not about lean or rich. heck, if anyone knows which type of sensor that second one is then please post it here! it could be HC sensor, O2 sensor, or even cat overheat light if that car even has a cat converter.

cng and petrol are two different fuels. having a stoichiometric burn on cng wont necessarily give the driving a very pleasant driving experience - thus the complex lambda and sequential systems' advent.

bottomline - the whole system has to be bypassed as done by the LR system installed by the quoted guy.

O2 sensor measures the amount of residual oxygen in exhaust. Thats how the car's original ECU adjust the fuel. Similarly Lambda/sequential Kit takes the reading of O2 and continuously adjust the air fuel mixture resulting in no 'check engine lite'. Thats the whole point. Nothing is bypassed.

As mentioned in his thread he is not getting the check light after installing lambda control. Call the landi renzo phone number in karachi and talk to their engineer murtaza ali,he will guide u very well about everything.Below is the address:

But i am happy to see people gaining knowledge and sharing knowledge to have success in swift where our road side mechanics declared it failure on CNG.

But as per the feedback from umer, engine check light issue is resolved by installing Landi renzo lambda system LR-01.

Futher Feedback:

Till now i have drove 1500KM on CNG, last time i filled the cylinder from TM CNG on islamabad highway, full tank cost me Rs.546/- even though there was no gas in cylinder at all. The total mileage on that which i did is 178KM with 98% AC on, means almost Rs.3.1 per KM. the pick is obvious lesser then petrol but still the reponse even in 2nd gear with low rpm and AC on is very good. There is no issue of check light on. The interesting thing is that i got OBD scan from Islamabad suzuki motors I9 and everything is responding normal.

Bottomline. i am very staisfied having swift with LC01 CNG kit, i suggest all the bro to install LC01 even if they had already installed CNG, it will not cost more then Rs.10K.

getting 70KM in 200 Rs of CNG daily.

@ocean, is it with non stop AC and i mostly drive with RPM btw 3 to 5, in that case it is very good, but the main advantage of LC01 is that each and every component and sensor is linked by LC01, there are three components of LC01 as described on LR site, one of its component is attached with regulator which controls the quantity of gas entering into it, i am not getting time else ill definately post the pics soon

yup it's 100% ac ON and i too drive between 3 to 5 RMP most of the time.

no doubt LC01 is far better and having advantages over conventional system
