These are the points where to cut, Its to separate all 3 runners so the manifold cannot warp itself or the head. The original design only has flanges with 2 stud holes each - which is a perfect exhaust manifold design.

btw its quite odd that your carburettor was missing its dashpot, thats usually seen on automatic transmission cars.

i really dont name its name and working , but it look like a no return valve and controls the vacum of one of the diapharam , i have noticed that this thing was also missing on one of my cousion's car , may be mechanic remove them , but i can see that diapharam opens while i pull the acclerator lever , any how i guess there was some function of it and thats why company put it there , so i restore all in its original condition , i try my best to find some instruction manual of this carb but till now not find , there is one hope but for that i may have to wait many days

i cant find the average yet , i need an extra electric fuel pump and an extra fuel reservoir for that , unless cant find exzact , once i do that with mehran , luckily mehran has a mechnical fuel pump and its posible to attach an extra fuel reservoir with it , but thats not posible in cultus ,,,,,,,,,,but i can guess its giving good average , i fill the tank with 15 L petrol , guage shows almost half , and then gave a good trip of almost 20 Km, half on local and half on high way , guage is still stands there , need to find exzact

its called dashpot and its function is to hold the throttle blade open slightly when you release the accelerator, it then holds for about 1 to 3 seconds and releases it softly, its there to reduce engine shock when changing gears in a manual car and emissions too.

helo friends , here i do some modification on cultus exhaust manifold on the suggestion of Mr Zulfiqar ,,,,,,,,,,,,,the point is that the linear thermal expansion of alminum and cast iron is different , melting point of alminum is lower than that of cast iron hence it expands on a greater rate irrespective of that of cast iron , by making these cuts we allow the alminum to expand and contracts while at the same time there will less stress of exhaust manifold on it , ,,,,,,,,manifold wont put much stress while the alminum expands or contracts...............you may have noticed that many times headgaskit fails , i guess it more because of the expansion of alminum , and you may need to re surface your car's cylinder head , may be this mod can prevent such problems in futhure,,,,,

I think this light glows when the car is running on reserve fuel indicating less amount of petrol in the tank. Don't you have that orange light for petrol on the cng/petrol conversion switch?

For anyone who owned a charade GTti with original CB70 engine - this sort of heat expansion was also one of the reasons it used to blow its headgasket at cyl no.2. Its remedy was to face the manifold and exhaust ports on the head and make cuts on the stud accepting holes on the top.

helo friends , engine is out from car and doing some gear work , will share that later , but here i replace the fly wheel pilot bearing and throw out bearing , very easy to replace them once the engine is out from car , but very very hard if you are removing engine just because of these 2 small bearings , check the pic will later show you how to remove cultus engine ,

yeah may be you are right , but the paksuzuki cultus has no bulb/connection behind that ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yes my CNG kit has that yellow light , and i connect this speedo meter light with the yellow cable of CNG switch which gave current to the fuel cut off solenoid ,
