Friends, XLi is not that bad. It gives me 17.5 km/litre on motorway and 14+ in city.
It's poweful and fast on motorway and gives a very smooth, controlled ride.
The propaganda about breaks is bullshit. I drove it more than 1,000 kms in three days and went to Faisalabad and Gojra, did not face a single problem with breaking.
It handled rough roads and bumps very well. It's body did not touch on speed breakers and pot holes
AC was chilling.
My Sony Xplode MP3 player and speakers added to driving pleasure.
It is 1.3 litre, but has the same body, interior as of 1.6 and 2000 cc cars.
It is not underpower, rather I had to be careful keeping it within speed limit. It overtook other cars like a breez.
It's power steering is so good that you need only one hand or a finger to turn in the desired direction.
City of Liana have got ugly looks, while Liana might have some acceptance due to its price, cng and features, City has failed miserably to attract serious minded people.
You can crib a lot about Xli but you cannot beat it when it comes to reliablity and fuel economy and looks.
