PKDM Wagon R vs FAW V2 (Comparison)

Some Pros and Cons of V2 against Wagon R.

Pros:
More powerfull Engine. 1300cc vs 1000cc
Better Suspension. 4 wheels Independent Suspension on V2.
ABS
Power Windows on All four doors.
Air Bags.
More Spacious Cabin and Comfortable Seats.

Cons:
Poor Resale Value.
New Company, No guarantee to Stay.

In my opinion FAW V2 is a third class china mall nothing else.They are selling cheapest product by giving fooling our innocent people by giving ABS and other goodies with lowest quality.I went to see V2 at faw showroom and by distance this car looks great but when you open door it is all Chinese ,interior made from 10 rupees toys with very odd color scheme.The indicators is on other side + power windows are oddly placed.
If any body want to buy car in 1.1 million either go for JDM or need pecae of mind then Cultus or WagonR. IF you hate your money buy V2 and spend your life defending your decision.
No offence to any one its my personal opinion.

^^I saw a faw v2 having weird turning radius (more distance or left and less on right) I noticed the rear wheel is bend and later saw 2 more faw v2 pic posted on faw v2 review thread with same bend rear wheel

I am not against V2, but pakwheels blogger are extremely biased, sorry for that but i have to express it, in just a month or 2 after a launch of WR, one of the pakwheels blogger declared WR ultimate flop, please check now its sale and popularity. Not even that, i have yet to see any unbiased review by Pakwheels blogger on WR, what i always read is just making fun of the shape.

I am not an expert like you so haven't notice something like this just by looking. I'll look for this issue when I see one somewhere. Any idea what can cause this?

I agree pakwheels bloggers have been taking Suzuki to the cleaners lately but maybe they have a reason because Suzuki have been ripping us all off. Sales doesn't justify a product. Look at Mehran. It's selling like hot cakes even at the price of 7 lacs. Doesn't makes it any less a piece of crap.

I was not commenting on the quality i was referring to the prejudice about the future of WR by blogger and terming it a flop too early. It is not only suzuki, toyota as well as honda are ripping us off. IMO, this is the first time pak suzuki ever done something good by bringing WR in market, which is present day car unlike the discontinued model world wide as of Swift, cultus and mehran of course. I hardly see this information being spread by any blogger till date for WR, idea is to be fair all the time, praises are equally important as of criticism.

Yeah ok thank you for telling me, i bought it in july 14, till today it is 23k+ kms driven, satisfied from it alhumdulillah, it is as noiseless as on first day, getting great economy as my daily travel involves bumper to bumper traffic. What suzuki did was wrong by decreasing its price, its was a new car in market it cannot just start selling quickly, also price drop was too steep it should not be more than 25k

JDM. Do you know how accidental JDMs are repaired and sold in pakistan? At least cheap new mall of china would be better than so called "JDM".

Price difrenc in VXL pakg is 90,000 that you have.

This thread should be about comparing one against the other due to similar price bracket and not for bashing others... i was really confused that should i buy WR or V2, test driven both and really liked both..but in the chose v2 due to spacious cabin and more powerful engine.. so far happy with my decision.. yes there are some issues with interior of v2 but these are bearable and can be rectified..

I bet the guy who posted the first comment on this blog new visited a FAW showroom or have seen a V2 personally in detail. His opinion is totally biased and illogical without any support.

V2 beats wagon-R in every single point, may it be price, features, safety, reliability, looks, performance or technology.

Compare it on papers or compare it Practically. Trust me V2 would beat Wagon-R in every single aspect. Resale would get better in a matter of time.

Interior quality of the material is the same as Toyota Vitz and other Japanese cars being imported. All are of hard FRP (Fire Resistant Plastic) the only difference is the texture of the dashboard. You can compare it with other Japanese hatchbacks.

Logic for Windows controls and Indicator stick being on the opposite is only known by FAW people but some of Chevrolet models have window controls at the same position and all German cars comes with the indicator sticks on the left side including European Mitsubishi Triton double cabin pick-up.
So guys don't be so worried about these small changes. You'll get use to this in few days.
