Can Any one Help me :'(??? in deep deep trouble

I have overhaul D16Y6 Factory fitted VTi engine of my Civic 1997, but this is to let you know that its head and block were in worst condition but car was in running condition, it was having missing of some sort, i was thinking it may be due to engine work, but since i have made it overhaul, voices aren't coming all done but the missing is still there, though i have changed the distributor cap and router also, for initial it remained ok, on the phase to keep the engine start just after fitting, but there was one trouble remained that was that giving full accelrator the accelration is braking and car is getting switched off, machenic has tried adjusting everything but yet to find precised problem, on FULL SUDDEN(also slow sometime) ACCELERATION car engine is getting switched off, 2ndly now after fixing its air filter boxes and all, later he got it restart its missing once again please note that its all happening on petrol... ??

did your mechanic ever check the fuel pressure with a gauge setup?

Not really, because it's just slow, not malfunctioning

Well before leaving for office, I decided to lift the hood and record the video while revving the engine. No rattling sound today

Will look for the sound again tomorrow.

replace the rubber pipes for the slave cylinder of the suspect wheel, bleed the brakes with a jar and a pipe (pipe should be dipped in liquid and be above hub level but below reservoir level) - slow short strokes on the pedal are the only way to bleed brakes on old cars.

is it good idea to go for it? as some peopel are saying its not common car etc... plz give me advise about spare parts and everything thanks so much please reply soon i will be grateful...

Hi I own a Corolla altis 2010 had issues with it hope you can give a valuable and suitable suggestion thank you.

Auto Tranny their is a slight leak (not proper leaking or dripping its just a Emanate) and Transmission fluid is in good condition and up to the mark,I took it to Toyota Dealer the Technician told me not to worry just keep a close eye on ATF fluid,next time time on proper mileage when I will be changing ATF then we will fix it.

Cruise control is not engaging properly.It was working perfect but from last few months it does not hold the speed and the cruise lights start blinking,even Toyota guys don't have any idea.plz help.They used to say spiral cable is damaged i even changed it but it's of no use.

there's a DIG sound(Don't Confuse it with Tic Tic Sound which is due to compression of metal) coming from rear of the car,I am unable to point the main reason what is causing this sound?Car is having 235K Mileage.Checked shocks,Steering rack everything is fine.Is it from fuel pump or what ?

Its not an easy task, you need the front end plus engine, trans and center diff, the complete rear end and driveshaft, the fuel tank, the floor pans (or make them) and the hubs/brakes/tires/wheels of all 4 corners. Then you can start with the wiring part.

Do you have experience of such work or are you going to be the wallet owner and the mechanic will be the karigar?

Xulfiqar bhai I am aware of this as I have seen ppl doing this , haven't done it of own yet . I am in a process of arranging an half cut with the back floor but I am facing some difficulty to regarding clearance of the half from karachi port . I will be the one spending and getting my hands dirty as well with the mechanic with the swap , cant leave it on the mechanic else I will end up a waste .

Xulfiqar sir I went to mechanic with friend to get his car tunned their I saw a throttlebody the mechanic claimed it to be a Honda city throttlebody now funny part of story the guy told me that the throotlebody having strange problem of stalling engine at wot and working fine on 0-70% throttle to solve the issue mechanic just swap the throttle body i was wonderring that if the problem was related to tps sensor or something

I was asking it because i am using Delo 15W40 API CI-4/SL in it so i guess its good to go with it.

What I have heard is stiffer valve spring need high zddp too like rocker arm and old engine use to rely on stiffer spring too rev high I my self use delco gold in 4afe

@xulfiqar..I have an 8th gen civic and whenever i press the brake gently the steering shakes..if i press it fully the steering shaking decreses /stops..The problem dissapears after getting the rotors turned then again appears after few thousand kms..Im using nissin brake pads and not honda oem ones..What can be the reason for this happening?

Check the brake discs for uneven lumps

@xulfiqar my w203 has had a intermittent faint hissing noise from the AC form behind the dashboard ever since i bought it, the cooling had been very good but occasionally on idle or while stopped the Ac would stop working completely but start blowing cold as soon as the car was revved up or while driving. somebody indicated it to me that the hissing is because of low refrigerant and it rushing past the txv valve.

if my car was on low refrigerant would it make such a noise? and would the EC button not light up as i understand the climate control shuts of the AC if the system is low to protect the compressor and the EC lights up, the button works fine otherwise.

can you do a diagnostic on the advanced climate control panel and manually read the codes and values like you can on a w210 i believe? the car was on STAR a while back and had no error codes stored or otherwise in this regard even though the hissing noise was present then as well. i believe the compressor spins all the time and has no clutch on these cars also as it drops water form ac drain in summers as well as winters now.

And if the level refrigerant level is indeed low estimated form high and low pressures can the gas be retopped up assuming no leaks and no compressor oil added or would all the gas have to be removed and vacuumed then filled again? it takes pag 46 oil? and can PAO ISO oil be substituted?

seeing people do this is not equal to doing it, when you cut and graft an entire floor pan in a unibody car your measurements need a chassis jig to finalize the finish - even 1mm out of true will create headaches and this job is not done with oxygen acetylene welding. You seem to have some idea of that, go ahead and try it, but please remember the lancer passenger car and lancer evolution are not exactly the same cars, they are distant cousins who look slightly similar - you will see the difference once you get the cut parts infront of you.

you have ground your discs twice to resolve this?

are your brake pads wearing perfectly even? are they free to move in the pad carrier or are they siezed in the carrier? A pad not able to move freely in the pad carrier will cause uneven braking and will cause steering vibration. I would advise to remove the discs, put them on a lathe and use a steel wire rotary brush to deglaze the discs, then remove the steel clips from the pad carrier, buff the carrier ears with a steel wire brush, apply slight silicon grease to the ears of the carrier, install clips, install pads making sure they can easily slide in the carrier (if they are jammed because they are not genuine parts then use a file to grind them down and make them easy to slide), clean pins completely, apply silicone grease to them assemble brake and retest.
