if bike is not properly 'breaked in' it will be crippeled for ever and never achieve its real top speed even after running period because cylnder gets scratchs every time it makes that 'Tha' or chokes due to high friction b/w cylnder and piston.
if you dont believe me you can have a look at CG 125 forums, I posted this many times there that my second Honda CG 125 , when I bought my second CG 125 before paiggo, I was so much in a hurry to join my gang that I didnt let her properly break in and in six months my bike was a piece of junk and had to sell it because it was sure that it will never reach its top speed unless the cylnder and heard is changed completly...
