My car had the exactly same situation at exactly same spot. This can be easily dry dented, then wetsanded slightly and compounded to reduce the visual impact of paint damage. Off all the places in the world a company dealership is the worst place for dry denting. Dry denting is an art, a skill and not a simple job. The word dry denting doesnβt exist for those immature laid back workers and staff at dealerships as it requires patience and needs time. Their main interest is doing jobs which are standard and require less skill.
I would suggest visit a desi workshop for dry denting. Honda prefers to replace the whole part and if you insist they agree on repainting the existing part.
