Recently when i was looking through the empty oil cans of my X i have came to know that one can was 0W20 SN...the rest all are 5w30...my car is Oriel and almost 21K driven...so uptill now the oil has been changed for four times...thing is that i coudnt find when 0w20 was used in my car......wanted to ask if anybody else has experienced the same..it seems honda uses both types of oil in one car...or they are so much unaware that they dont know what type of oil to be used in which car....

My x is 10k and means two oil changed. I intentionally preferred 0w-20sn in winters season and 5w-30SN in summer.

QUERRY PLZ

Assalam o alaikum dear members.
I hav civic oreal 2017.
Its battery water has dried once. i check battery water after a month now. I was advised to switch over to Dry Cell Battery or Hybrid battery.
Wat r the recommendations by the Gurus plz....

The oil life meter on my Turbo shows 9800KM. Does the oil really last 10k KM or are we supposed to change it after 5k?

After 5k as per new SOP by Honda

Switch to AGS hybrid. Exactly for the last one year it hasn’t asked for a single drop and maintained its level. Dry batteries are not recommended in engine bay open like Civic has because of heat.

All cars with dry batteries have them either in the trunk or a separate insulated compartment if at the front like many Audi models have it.

For coating and its maintenance I am always getting it done by professionals so can talk about results only and not procedure... step by step.

1. Coating was applied by 3S dealership (Honda Center Rawalpindi). They kept car for 2 days and as per them they prepared surface and then applied 3 layers of coating. They used Gyeon brand those days. Now these days I dont know what they use but whenever I visit them for my car PM there is a car standing inside detailing room means they have good reputation for glass coating.

2. For maintenance coat I am getting it done by local facility in Chakwal (Technowash) for easy access and happy with it. Maintenance coat takes 2-3 hrs and thats all.

Ali bhai what amps hybrid battery was fit in place for original battery compartment in Civic X??

Hybrid series is recommended now from dealership. No more dryness problem

Mothers M tech spray wax.. please share your experience if anyone has used. I want to use it on my lunar silver civic.

Spray wax are not meant for durability. Try some paste or liquid wax.

Bro wats the procedure for new CAR. Can u plz explain it step wise.. like wash with shampoo... then polish.. then wax and thn sealent. Car is lunar silver civic.. also please tell about good products for washing, polishing,waxing and sealent.

Just a quick update for everyone having steering issues. I went in for a similar steering noise claim today which was registered by the dealership. Got some interesting feedback from the warranty guy as well. Apparently, a very high percentage from the replaced ones are also becoming faulty. Honda has done some R&D with their vendor and managed to find an alterate solution which involves greasing some parts in the assembly and are currently testing it on some cars. Initial cudtomer feedback after about a month's usage is that the issue was resolved.
Let's hope this materializes so that we dont have to go through the complete replacement process.

Its not hard bro. Simply
1. Wash
2. Paint correction by pros
3. Sealant
4. Curing time 12 hours
5. Sealant
6. Curing time 12 hours
7. Wax
If you dont want to go to pro than skip the step 2 and use All in one polish
Will suggest to buy gallon of any shampoo, meguiars hyper wash
For step All in one polish use klasee ALL in one
For step three, meguiars mirror glaze 21, klasse high glass sealant, chemical guy jet seal,
Wax collinite 875, meguiars ultimate paste wax

So the AC wasn’t cooling all of a sudden, when into the dealership they said it’s the cooling coil that needs to be replaced and your car is the 18th on the list, it’ll take a month to source the part, and in the meantime just filled in gas.

Power steering is also another issue that they’re having a lot of complaints about and have a list for that too
