every thing was fine. Fuel pump was faulty. waited for 1 n 1/2 weeks for the part with reference. got it back last Friday running good now. 2 more civics were at the dealership with same issue. part isn't available in Pakistan what i was told.

I am totally not regretting and helped a collegue of mine in Getting a Geniune milage 12000 kms Driven Turbo from a sugar mill CFO last Year Aug ..... he is clocking 22000kms now and loving every bit of it.... no problems at all except AC coil replacement under warranty

Getting help of some one already owning a Turbo will be benificial in getting a top notch car.

A very good friend and an active Senior Pak wheeler recently did a 2nd trip from Karachi to Punjab and Nothern Areas and he is really happy and satisfied with his Turba... mine too did a Lahore to Babusar Top trip and absolutely fine experience throughout.

All i say is till now all curses proven to be myths regarding Turbo.

One can opt for a nicely maintained Oriel too as it is also a very nice car to drive with all the Honda comfort, sporty essence inside.

Need help regarding the Tax calculations:

I have already paid the full amount (obviously including all taxes) to Honda, and car will be delivered in July (next fiscal year), so the question is when I'll compensate the Withhold tax, in this Current year or Next year ? What will be the date on Invoice (June or July).

Anyone else who experienced the same and how he handled it ?

The invoice will be prepared at the time of delivery. In your case it's July. So you have to adjust the tax in next year.

What about the ivtec (non oriel) Civic X? have seen one in mint condition low miles and reasonable demand.

Im considering this car coz I will opt for a 1.6 Altis if I dont get a decent Oriel in my budget which is max 3 million. I compare it with a 1.6 Altis and find a non oriel civic X a better deal.

I dont care about the market as I wont be reselling it any time soon. I keep all cars for a minimum of 5-7 years.

Lailou bhai you are the better judge of your circumstances, but every sane pakwheeler would advice you against hardtop, Altis 1.6 is better option purely BC of resale or add lac or 2 to your budget and get oreil without leather and navigation....

You can use 5w30 if your car is not in warranty. If in warranty use 0w20 as Atlas Honda says that warranty is void if non Honda lubricants and modifications are used.

Differs on paper but with 4 people on board its the same for both. My friend has Turbo since 2017 and he has no issue with clearance and i bought an oriel some time time back and it has never touched ground on bumps and car breakers. A hint of caution is always better

Youre probably right but I feel that after a few years when the model has been discontinued and the hype has settled, the condition of the car matters the most. Also ill be getting it way cheaper than the Oriel at this time.

For example I have a Manual Exi Civic 2005 model as well. A basic civic of those times. And people are willing to pay a handsome amount of money for it on this day.

anyways my preference is Oriel. I can extend max to 3.1 million but the good cars have suddenly vanished from the market.

Reason is simple, most people want to upgrade and at the moment that seems pretty hard. So people are just keeping whatever they have.

The only difference between Oriel and non Oriel is of Push start, Cruise control and sun roof and honestly none of these 3 things impact on car's functionality. As for the alloy rims, you can always get aftermarket ones for your liking.
I would say get Civic because it is more refined, powerful and better drive than 1.6 Altis. Not because i am a Civic boy but because i own both of them !
