Buy the absolute top of the line variant because that is the only one you’ll be able to sell when the time for it comes. There’s zero market for hard top. It’s not about not being able to sell it for a good price, it’s that you probably won’t be able to sell it at all.

Sir kindly tell me about tyre size and effect if i go with 215/60/R16 instead of stock 215/55/16.

A lot of light already shed in previous posts by me & other valuable members in detail. For your understanding in short 60 will make your ride bouncy and the handling will be hampered as the deviation should not be more than 2 to 3% when considering tyre upsize. Either 215 or 225 stick to 55 aspect ratio......

Its too much bigger than stock diameter, you will compromise the grip and handling a bit as your car will get higher. Stick to stock size or go for 225/55-16

Out of Total quartz 5w-30, kixx PAO 0w-30 and mobile 5w-30, which one will you recommend for turbo?

Turbo has a longer drain interval I would recommend to go in an upper tier oil brand like LM or Mobil etc. @usman1texh can guide you better in this regard

But isn't PAO better than being fully synthetic? I mean kixx is PAO and mobile is fully synthetic. Correct me if I'm wrong. Secondly, by longer drain interval you mean something close to 10k Kms? Currently I'm using total quartz 5w-30 with 5k kms drain interval.

Bro technology alone as claimed by them is not good enough. The company also needs to be good.

Let me try to explain with a simple example: a 2.4 Litre Suzuki Kizashi doesn’t have a better market response than a 1.8 Litre Honda Civic. Kehnay ko its a 2.4 car but its a Suzuki, similarly a low end Korean brand of oil with no standing and history will not be better in comparison to a famous German brand of oils with established history.

I wouldn’t rely on standards of an inferior brand. I have used so called fully synthetic Taglon from Toyota also in one of their cars but found semi synthetic Mobil to be a better oil. Mobil semi synthetic > Taglon fully synthetic (despite being so called semi). Its not just about the technology claimed by an oil manufacturer to be necessarily better.

Please correct, PAO oils are true fully synthetic and that means somewhere between 15000 to 25000kms drain interval.

In all honesty i would recommend you to stay with Total Quartz 9000 5W-30 SN GF5 fully synthetic ( Group 2 with synth type additives) and let it replenish every 5000kms like you are already doing.

During combustion process the combustion byproducts contaminate / degrade the oils which in turn made them replace.... unfortunately our fuel having high levels of mmt degrades the lube oils faster so in current circumstances i feel it not worthy to go for expensive / PAO oils along with longer drain intervals....

Honda Atlas when launched Turbo civic gave drain interval of 10000kms thats why the oil life displayed on meter is 10000kms but shortly released internal service bulletin to all 3S dealerships for replacing lube oil at 5000kms and that is due to bad mmt based fuel which degrades the oils faster as compare to rest of the world.

The best combo is 0w-30 which i feel is best of both worlds and falls within manufacturer recommendation although i am stick to 0w-20 coz having 100000kms / 4 years warranty.

Atlas formulated Honda oil from Total 0W-20 & 5w-30. What we are getting from after market is even more superior oil i.e. directly imported from Singapore.

Gents. I applied cruise today in the morning at 59km/h on my FL X. Best part is the speed varied with the slope. At underpass and some other places it went upto 62kmp/ but while going up the bridge it was at 59. Now why didn't it maintain or try to maintain 59 while going down the underpass. My LC 80 series with the manual stick cruise control actually starts slowing down while going downhill if set on cruise control. I mean what is this???

Turn Eco Mode off. It will be more aggressive in maintaining set speed.

I will like to start this discussion once again, sorry. I recently saw the tin packing of kixx 0w-30 at filter house and it said SN plus. Turbo engines actually do require SN plus rating, right? Secondly, I also saw VIC oil filter over there. Came back home and did some research on these filters. Long story short, what I've come to realise after the research is that these, VIC oil filters are made in Japan and the OEM oil filters from honda dealerships are made in Thailand and apparently these VIC oil filters are better than the OEM Thailand oil filters. Kindly shed some light on this too.
