This problem is not present in every car.

And atleast it is something not new to me because I have the exact same problem in my 7th gen civic since when it was just 4–5 years old (brought brand new). My car had rusting underneath door rubbers, rubber knobs, etc

A 9th gen Civic in family had the exact same problem. A friend’s 8th gen Civic had the same problem. Fortunately my 8th Gen Civic has no such issue.

So the problem is random. But has been consistent. Something is wrong somewhere at Atlas’s end.

Uploading... Installed new rims and Tyres
Rims : Taiwan made 18×8 , offset 45 , weight : 6 kg (per rim)
Tyres : Dunlop SP sport LM 704
Tyre size : 225/45/18
Drive is very smooth. And I didn't choose 235/40/18 or 225/40/18 due to reduction in ride quality (comfort). Overall increase in dia is 2.7% which is in the allowable limits i.e 3%.
Note : I am observing lockdown meticulously , bought these before Lockdown but couldn't put on due to markets closure , today it opened partially and went with full protection.

6kg per rims?? This look like world lightest rims in the world in18x8 size....even BBS 18x8 forged alloy rims weight minimum 7-7.5kg. Taiwenese rims in 18x8 is around 9-10kg depend on brand.

Hahaha. ! Sir I weighed them on weighing scale as well ! Ab Pata nahi weighing scale bhi sahi Tha ya nahi. But it felt a lot lighter than OEM.

Yes ur weight scale showing wrong, OEM 16" is 10.1 kg so yeah this can be lighter but not like 6kg

Like I said maybe it's the weighing scale thing but it won't be more than 8.5-9 kg. U are right on that weighing scale thingy !

Yes I'm guessing they would be more like 8.5kg which would be impressive anyway. 6kg is an impossibility. Also my experience with LM704 is not good as they are rock hard and not too grippy. Hope they serve you well!

Yeah around 8ish kg. I hope tyre holds well . My daily drive is mostly on main roads , paved well. My preference was Yokos or Continental but they are
v expensive(for 18 inch ) (around 35k per Tyre) which is out of range for me.

And I would imagine there weren't many choices in this size either. Again the ideal tire size would've been 235/40R18 but I can see where you're coming from. Makes a big difference to ride quality.

Does Civic X 1.8 has same specs as C160 the one being offered in Pakistan? C160 is just 129 HP..

Yeah. I had choice between Dunlop and Conti only. Sidewall of 40 would still have been okay but slightly more cushion is the best option here in Khi.

Hi everyone, I have a Civic X 2019 (pre-facelift) 1.8 Oriel. Today I was driving back home around 5pm, suddenly my car got switched off on its own. I was accelerating and it wasn't responding. Thank God I was on a street so my speed wasn't fast. The car had enough acceleration that I parked it on the side. I tried starting the car, it was taking self but it just wasn't starting. I don't even have tracker installed so I couldn't figure out what was wrong. It's a reasonably new car (13000kms) and this was unexpected. The battery was fine since the car was taking self. I called a mechanic, who came and upon diagnosing, he said that the fuel cell (fuel pump) isn't working fine. So he removed the backseat and literally hit the fuel pump with his knuckles and the car started. He said that I will need to replace the fuel pump, which costs around 15-20k. I told him that it's covered in warranty, which I will get changed from Honda. Honestly, it was a very scary experience that the car suddenly stopped in the middle of the road and then didn't even start. Imagine if I was on a main road and speeding. Has anyone experienced similar issue with their Civic X? Is this a common issue? Please advise.

It's one off case. Sometimes it happens in every other vehicle . Get it replaced under warranty
