Why its owner responsibility to investigate an issue.?
Owners have raised their concerns with dealers and even with Atlas. Atlas should investigate and come up with findings and then fix the problem at its assembly line and recall the vehicles of the problem LOTS. Atlas have given the message to owners via their dealer that it's not in warranty. The problem is Atlas and dealer even knowing about the issue didnt take it serious until recently.
Owner paid for the car and expect it to be good, if there is an issue , he can complaint and get it resolved if it's under warranty language. Atlas have issue here but they are not taking it on their head because it's not in their booklet.
If you read the initial post which I did, I also mentioned that these car makers should have a rust warranty language in their warranty booklet which currently it's not there while the same is provided overseas. Regardless of no issue reported, there should be a warranty coverage with timeframes given and written.
Rest you know there is nothing like class action lawsuits and we also know the process of lawsuits anyway.
I appreciate your guidance but it's very easy to make suggestions sitting in TX or NY.
