Those are claimed on paper figures. In reality on the Dyno they're making less power. Check the thread posted above by Waqas ahmed. There's a 28whp difference. Rs turbo here in pak is around the same level as 11th gen though considering the local Dyno and 0-100 numbers. Earlier 2016 turbos without the software mod are known to be more powerful in pak.
I'm assuming earlier turbos made more power than officially claimed cause it was so easy to do with the turbo tuneability and for better reviews, which was dialed down after fuel octane concerns, CVT reliability concerns and oil dilution concerns. The current whp is still within spec assuming the usual 10% driveline loss (probably a bit higher percentage for cvts). The new 11th gen turbo still has more tuneability potential than the 10th gen though. Most people aren't gonna care anyways and would rather have the extra fuel economy and reliability, I'd prefer that too. Plus with the turbo if the power isn't satisfactory, you can always tune it, so it's the perfect compromise for both types of customers.
