The Thai version 1.5T RS wheels look hideous even infront of 10th gen RS wheels locally. Hope they include electric seats like Elantra and nice looking rims with imported tyres like Grande and ofcourse sharkkk feen tennnaa.

They will most definitely do the prebooking scams, but they learnt their lesson from the 2016 turbo. They test it on 91 ron fuel in Pak, doing very long runs on highways and short stretches on b roads. To make sure the engine lasts in Pak, they have to test it.

My guess is that they run a test bench in the factory on low quality fuel and finish it up on the roads. These cars will do around 5000km just in testing. All new entrants don't know the testing situations and their CBUs are closer to the CKD units. Meanwhile Hondas and Toyotas are significantly more localised than them, so they need testing on their CKD units.

17" wheels on the spotted vehicle are the one seen on Thai/ Indonesian RS.

I wouldn't count our 17 inch tyres on the top spec. It is going to be a very loaded car. If it has Honda Sensing, then it will most definitely have 17 inch tyres on the "RS" spec that Honda will launch. After all, they need to justify a price of almost 6 mil for the top spec.

Since they will try and beat KIA Sportage with this, they will have to provide the same features plus some extra. So perhaps you can build a list from there

Keep in mind a loaded 11th gen with current Civic pricing in mind means you are getting close to Sonata pricing. Anyone in the market spending 5.5 Million [ if we assume next Civic top varaint price] might shortlist Sonata as well. I know Sonata price will not be static by then and can jump upwards.

As of Sportage, KLM is planning for next generation of Sportage in spring of 2023. Early 2023 , a Hybrid Corolla Cross is also planned.

You are right. But you should also see the market trend. The Sonata we get here is such a bad spec that even a Civic can match it, if built right.

Plus, since when has Honda priced its cars correctly? People will buy whatever price Honda asks them. The only problem is that Honda and Toyota offer such a good after sales network. And their parts are much cheaper. This is an important factor in a market where less people insure their cars

Atlas imported the CBU from Thailand with B618M color code which is Morning Mist Blue metallic. The declared price is $32,690. The model details says VTIS, which in previous Civic X used to be mid level varaint offered in Australia. Sedan is now discontinued in Australia for 11th generation and only a loaded single varaint/ VTi-LX hatch is offered starting at around A$ 47,200.

If someone can get close to this camouflaged vehicle and see under the door handles and If it is the Morning Mist blue, there is higher probability the camouflaged vehcile might be the same CBU. Again I am not saying Atlas cant have the same color on PKDM Civic as CBU unit. I am only trying the eliminate different points.

Additionally, Thai RS is the fully loaded BUT it doesn't come with sunroof. Even on Civic X there was no sunroof in Thailand. In Indonesia on Civic X there was an option of Sunroof but on 11th, there is just one varaint and the RS and there is no sunroof on the Indonesian Civic as well for 11th. If someone can get close to the camouflaged civic in Pakistan and see if this has a sunroof. If it doesn't have the sunroof then maybe another reason to believe that the camouflaged model is a CBU. I am sure Honda Atlas will offer the sunroof.

I have asked my close contact [ works at clearance facility ] to share any details from the port clearance if we can find out about any CKD kits. Let's see.

Indonesia:
RS, the only trim and loaded one, Sedan with 1.5T ... NO SUNROOF. [ Civic X had an option of sunroof ]
priced @ 567 million rupiah = PKR-7,011,622/-

Malaysia:
RS, the only trim and loaded one, Sedan with 1.5T ... NO SUNROOF. [ Civic X also had no option for sunroof ]
pricing awaited.

Singapore:
Only one trim, not as loaded as other as above. 1.5T with detuned power to 127... NO SUNROOF.
priced @ SGD-122,999 = PKR-16016713/-

AUSTRALIA
Only one loaded trim and hatchback with 1.5T. No option for sedan... NO SUNROOF.
priced @ A$ 47,200 = PKR- 5,969,879/-

As I mentioned earlier, a PKDM Civic will have sunroof but if the camouflaged vehicle as seen on PK roads is without the sunroof, most probably its a Thai spec CBU RS variant. Atlas imported an 11th from Thailand as we already know.

Sir camouflaged main sunroof nazar hi nhn anii. Pricing is only a concern on fb and in general comments, while real world fact is different here. Pakistanis who can afford are more than enough to super cede the production capacity of manufactures actually.

By the way lane watch is an older technology and USDM has discontinued it in favor of more conventional radar based Blind spot monitoring.

The lane watch displays video on the infotainment system when the left side view when you turn left/ activate left side indicator OR press the camera button on the stalk.

well you can peek inside the vehicle if possible. It will not be visible from outside but if we see the interior, we can confirm if its there.

One more thing.. Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia.. all use Honda own proprietary infotainment system. Not sure if Honda Atlas will use an imported Honda branded unit. Lot of functionality also depends on this head-unit and we have seen in case of Civic X, which uses a local supplier unit. lets see what Atlas do and I hope they dont ruin it because locally supplied head-units are pathetic comparing Honda own systems as seen in overseas models. Additionally, keep in mind, an after market is not an option for the floating displays.

USDM 9" unit on top Touring "only". Indonesia/ Thai RS only trim also gets the same 9" unit.

USDM 7" standard unit. This is same on Thai basic two variants as well.

Standard cluster is 7", half digital, half analogue . This is the same as on Thai 2 basic versions. The speed is analogue guage with needle.

16" wheels on two other trims in Thailand. Same are also seen in Singapore.

18" wheels on Malaysia RS.

18 wheels on USDM Top of the line 1.5T Touring.

18" wheels on the USDM 2L NA Sport. This is a mid level trim BUT normally the most sold trim as also seen on Civic X. [ wheels same as Malaysian RS ]

I am sure in coming days , we will have many more photos of this mule.. Let's see if we can confirm if this is the CBU or a CKD. Not sure if we can check the registration number of it.

From the factory floor, I can unofficially say that it's [camouflaged unit] not a CKD.. Again no confirmation as of now as the information is very crude and need further clarification.
