Well keep in mind markup is publicly posted and its taxed and reported by dealer as an income on their tax returns to IRS. It's not an under the table money and it's not a cash amount. Everything is well documented.
People paid $70K markups on A90 Supra and paying 40 to 50K markup on the new Corvette BUT its publicly available and reported number and shown along with the sticker price.
By the way Civic Si are available without a markup at my local dealer with same day delivery. So, it depends, you need to shop around in your area and your best bet is a volume dealer. It just started coming into dealerships. My local dealer is expecting around 40 to 50 units in next 2 weeks for on lot inventory.
