Well keep in mind markup is publicly posted and its taxed and reported by dealer as an income on their tax returns to IRS. It's not an under the table money and it's not a cash amount. Everything is well documented.

People paid $70K markups on A90 Supra and paying 40 to 50K markup on the new Corvette BUT its publicly available and reported number and shown along with the sticker price.

By the way Civic Si are available without a markup at my local dealer with same day delivery. So, it depends, you need to shop around in your area and your best bet is a volume dealer. It just started coming into dealerships. My local dealer is expecting around 40 to 50 units in next 2 weeks for on lot inventory.

Well I hope this is tuned according to our road conditions. This gets really annoying in city traffic. I had to turn these off in my Honda Vezel because of unexpected braking due to bikes and rickshaws.

Thats what I've been saying for a while. These features are more of a nuisance than a convenience here. Added cost for no benefit.

I loved the collision mitigation system in my mira 2018. Specially the brakes for pedestrians cross walks. Guys. Safety before tantrums!!

Ahh really. Now how about adaptive cruise?? Honda sensing is a complete package not just pedestrians collision mitigation. The car breaks for other vehicles as well. Also it does have light braking too which should be smooth. Pakistanion ko cheese mill jaye tab masla...na milay tu feature feature boltay garian import kerwatay hain. This nation is narcissistic to the core.

It is a very good safety feature but more suited to countries where traffic is disciplined unlike over here. I've experienced this in an Aqua where it braked so hard that the front passenger almost had a nasal fracture as his face banged into the windshield. Ofcourse he was not wearing a seatbelt and we were also unaware of this feature. The most annoying part comes when you have to continuously turn it off each time after starting the car. In my opinion, this just increases the price without providing any real usage. Should've rather gotten something useful such as Electric seats or auto dimming rear view mirror.

Did you even read the above posts? No body is talking about the complete package here. Certain features are definitely beneficial but the city brake assist isn't one of them. On Honda cars the braking can be very extreme, the car can suddenly slam the brakes like in an emergency. They are a nightmare to drive on Mall Road, Old Lahore streets etc. You constantly fear being rear ended by a bike or a rickshaw.

It isn't about Pakistanis being "narcissistic". Narcissism has nothing to do with what is being discussed here. Every technology has pros and cons. The cons of city brake assist in Honda cars far outweigh the pros in Pakistan. And people who are posting about the cons here are talking through personal experience and the shared experience of many Honda drivers on these forums and in their circle of friends etc.

Its just a marketing post on their Facebook post. They will reveal all features one by one. So please think ahead....a bit ahead.

New honda sensing is among the most optimized safety and drive assistance platform now. They are even calling it a step towards full automation.

Masla features ka hay he nahin. Masla approach ka hay. The perpetual habit of raising alarms.
