So about 2 months ago I had launched a complaint with my 3s dealership that my cars steering when on motorway or highway would move with a slight jerk when steering was moved aka when your driving in a lane on motorway for a while and moved the steering to keep car in lane on a bend it would have a little mini jerk instead of moving smoothly.
They test drove the car and agreed it was an issue and they had faced it previously as well , they said they would launch it with their headoffice and see what they recommend as they have replaced complete steering assembly in some cases and in some cases just lubed up the relevant parts.
Yesterday got a call that your steering assembly has arrived so I sent my car with driver and got my steering assembly replaced totally free of cost, gotta hand it to Honda they do honor their warranty . So since 2016 owning 4 honda civics till now i've gotten 3 steering racks replaced totally free , my 2016 & 2017 were out of warranty and still they claimed racks since cars were totally dealership maintained , this 2022 was still in warranty
Uplading part numbers etc if someone's interested , also this new steering rack that they installed is made in Thailand not Japanese
