only the cvts which dont give the simulated shifts feel boring..rs turbo and grande have the simulated shifts cvts which provide good sporty feel and better fuel economy then conventional auto gear box.

The worst part of CVT is the rubber band effect. I am unable to understand how the simulated shits fix this?

Who uses the simulated shifts on a Grande? It’s almost never used, just drive in D for max economy.

They only come in handy when coming downhill from a mountain for engine braking .

In grande drive pleasure is there because of no unnecessary gear change jerks and fast pickup. It’s not boring. Maybe if you like manual gear change effect too much.

Rubber band effect will be there and simulated shifts are a gimmick only helpful coming downhill .

But in grande the rubber band effect is quite negligible it’s a smooth and quick car.
