Blind spot Assist is part of Honda sensing on USDM. Its not available on Thai, Indonesia Civic.

The screenshots features I shared are related to Thai Civic Honda sensing.

Same is the case with Traffic Jam Assist, which is available on USDM.

Civic XI wins the prestigious North American 2022 Car of the year award.

North America is Honda's largest single market for Civic and sold on average around 325,000 units of Civic X every year in United States, almost 50% of global sales . Because of the huge single market, Civic X as well as Civic XI are designed and developed by Honda design studio in Los Angels.

Civic X also won the same award in 2016. Civic X made all the records of sales and fetched over 1.7 Million units in sales in US alone during its life cycle [ Dec 2015 till May 2021 ].

Today, I heard that launch is expected by max mid-Feb. Official bookings will start after that around the same time. Again too many rumors are causing confusion. UNofficial bookings have the risk alongside as well.

It’s actually very strange and surprising k nobody has any concrete update about any honda launches. In the other fortuner thread, a member regularly gives such accurate updates which is really helpful but nothing here.

A lot of stuff is now concrete. Feb is 90% confirmed. Almost ready from Atlas side.

@fazalwahab11375 your thoughts on this loaded Civic now? Like we know for a fact that Honda Sensing will come as standard on the RS variant only, but do you think it will be available as an add-on for lower trims? Seems like a 4 lac option just in terms of Honda pricing lol.

Considering the pitiful options we have in the local market right now, this Civic seems to be an all out attack from Honda Atlas. Now they only thing we have to see is if the interior and build quality is up to international standards. Corners will be cut of course, but considering the improvements made in the GM6 City's quality, I really think Honda will be smart enough to give us a good quality interior.

Sales will take a big hit due to the high price?

Sales will be very high.. budget is no issue for Pakistanis generally. Honda sensing is standard i guess across all variants.

Honda sensing is the major extra feature which is a real upgrade from the previous model. The wheelbase is also large but in our country people are more concerned about non tangible attractions rather then actual utility (wheelbase give more legroom in rear). They are buying smaller suvs ( <2700 mm) with hefty prices.

At launch of Civic X in US, Honda sensing was a $1000 option , means vehicle equipped with it were $1000 more in price . Later it became standard all across the model line and $1000 price was dropped.

Civic XI comes standard with Honda sensing in US. Pricing wise in US, Civic XI is not much expensive than Civic X.. keep in mind Civic XI also added many other features which were not in Civic X. Like a 7" headunit with apple and google integration was not there in base model Civic X. There are many other small little improvements across the model lineup. Civic XI also has rear side airbags on USDM as standard, first in class.

PKDM Civic going above 5.5 Million just because it has Honda sending does not make sense..

i would love to have honda sensing any day, it will me life easier as my driving to cluttered traffic areas is only 5% and i can always turn off the feature. But there are so many other systems Honda sensing gives for eg ACC, LKAS, LDW, Auto High beam, LCDN, these feature will make my driving more safe and reduces so many risks ...

Point is if Atlas is pricing Civic above 5.5 million just because it has Honda sensing is stupid.

thats also true,! but with honda sensing it becomes a different experience of ownership all together.
Yes not many would buy lower trim civic for these reasons.

do we have any direction on the trim levels? hardtop, oriel and turbo? or there will be some harmonization?

Well, I know people are getting excited for Honda sensing and these are great active safety features BUT how about side/ curtain airbags?

I personally want side/ curtain standard and I see it more important than Honda sensing. It will be stupid approach to give Honda sensing but skip side and curtain airbags.
