I personally think we might have just the two varaints and both will be with 1.5T and CVT as standard. One basic model and one loaded.

It seems we can safely say 1.8L is dead while 2L has no possiblity.

Mid shares stuff with RS but slightly less equipped like EL+ (Thai). We may call it Oriel
Top RS as loaded.

Maybe our RS will not be as equipped as Thai or Indonesian RS

Honda sensing package includes number of active safety features and adaptive cruise control is part of Honda sensing . Every car maker have active safety features packaged differently.. like there are certain brand vehicles which has adaptive cruise control but not any other active features. Honda sensing on USDM have some extra feature parts of sensing system like Traffic Jam Assist. USDM also has blind spot monitoring part of Honda sensing but it's not available on Thai or other ASEAN…

At 5.5 million this car will unfortunately fail I think. The AWD Sportage is slightly more expensive and the FWD variant is straight up cheaper. It's also nearing the price of MG HS, which despite MG's issue, has been a massive success. You must really want a Civic to spend this kind of money.

I don't think so. Kia isn't even part of PAMA so they'll want to go head to head against Honda Atlas. They already slashed the price of the Sorento, which is unprecedented in our industry.

Not a fact sir they did not slash but they actually declared it a failure. Also this has been going on with other cars in past Cultus, Ciaz, Vitara even Gli was available for 100K discount in 2019 December

I think it would be around 5.0-5.1 M fornfullu loaded and lower trim around 4.7 M.

You can't compare the 2015 model of Sportage with the latest Civic. Sportage is now an old car an older generation, plus the new generation of Sportage will cost way above 6 million.

Based on the recent failures KLM faced, I guess they'll price the new sportage pretty aggressively.
