It's still a significantly better value for money car. It's more comfortable, offers a panoramic sunroof, comfortable seats with lumbar support and has an AWD variant. Anyway, let's see what happens. But I don't think most people will opt for a Civic over a sportage. When Sportage first came, it was around 20 lac more expensive than the Civic. Now that difference is reduced to just 3-4 lac.

NO Official word BUT as of now and currently available information, Civic XI is no where before April. Again this info is same as we all share through our sources.

Keep in mind, even if Atlas has vehicle ready to reveal, a delay helps them as they are getting prebooking and that deposits earn them profits. Once the vehcile is publically revealed with price, then they go under pressure to deliver a vehcile to consumers. I think as of now dealers are taking prebooking but no offical word from Atlas.

After couple of months Atlas will also officially start prebooking , means officially announce prebooking but still without the reveal . Then after another month or so, they will release the vehcile with price. This is exactly they did with City and few years ago with BRV or even Civic X and I suspect same will happen with Civic XI.

Who pays 55 or so for a civic.
I own both grande and civic x, sold my grande for fwd sportage, was waiting for civic new gen but hearing about the prices I'll just add more and go for a sonata which is a league above this. It's pointless to spend this much on a civic. Even the current gen is not worth the tag right now. Peugeot 2008/3008 depends on the pricing otherwise sonata anyday.
But then again people are happily buying 1.2 cities lol, what else can you expect from people here, they don't know the worth of their own money.
If the top load is around 55 or more, it's dead for me. Done with the big 3's anyways

Current generation is priced at 4.25 million. Why are people talking about the price of next generation to be in 5.5-6 range? Did atlas honda announce that they are giving the steering wheel and door handles made out of gold? Why such insane guesses on the price?

Even if Honda prices the top trim (with Honda Sensing) at 5.5 mil, it’s still quite a way off from 2.5 Sonata and IMO better VFM compared to Sonata.

Comparing it with 2.0 Sonata is also a non starter because a 2.0 engine doesn’t cut it compared to 1.5 Turbo.

I’d take Honda Sensing over an extra glass panel on roof and couple of inches longer wheelbase any day.

Present turbo is almost 5 mil. Civic 11 is also turbo.

The Civic XI is Turbo only affair [ as per current understanding we have] and Civic X is already above 5 Million for Turbo. Expect Civic XI to be higher. After the FED approval, the prices will go further up all across the rbands and models so, no way the next Civic is below 5 million.

Even at 6 million sales will be skyrocketing. Sportage is not at all a threat to civic. People saying sportage should see market as sportage owners are also buckling up. Sedan buyers love only sedans

Most of Sportage current buyers / major percentage are convert from Sedans.. Crossovers have globally damaged conventional sedan sales.

Civic XI might get sales traction initially but by summer of 2023 or slightly earlier , the next generation Sportage is planned and it will again divert attention. Even if next generation Sportage touch 6 Million or + , C-segment sedan buyers will shortlist it and possibly go after it same way they did incase of current generation Sportage in Pakistan [ by increasing their budget and going after Sportage].

I am not saying Civic XI will not sell but new models from competitor will bring tougher competition. Also keep in mind a Hybrid Corolla Cross is coming in about a year time with possible pricing near 6 Million +/- as well.

I own a Sportage and Civic X both, trust me I hate driving the Sportage. Yes it has a comfortable ride, yes it is a higher car but I promise the drive is too dull and boring. Boring enough to literally put me in a bad mood after a while. The day starts feeling odd and as a result, usually the day I have to drive Sportage: I come home, park it and take Civic out for a drive to get my mood better after the damage done by Sportage that day. For me Civic is more premium than a Sportage. These stupid crossovers are only for people who don’t want good driving dynamics or don’t know anything about driving dynamics.

Same same…. Sold oriel to buy Sportage AWD kept it for abt 2 months felt like 15 yrs older while driving it sold it and got Turbo…

civic ki driving position bht khrb ha, you sit right at the floor. its good for 4 persons 5th person is soo uncomfortable.
also the manufacturing faults make it a bad buy. (sold mine after only 1200 km)
sportage interior is from the 90s i agree. but its driving pleasure is much more than civic. speaking from experience.

Civi xi base is at that price so those guessing it around 5-5.5 are probably right
