Personally, to me the side and curtain airbag has much more importance than the HONDA SENSING.

SIDE and CURTAIN airbags are mandated globally and required by law outside Pakistan. Any active safety feature like Honda Sensing or Toyota safety sense are not mandated anywhere.

Again it's good we are getting Honda sensing but side impact protection is way way more important. I hope Atlas make it standard across the trims.

This is what actually gonna be like (most likely as per prices and trims of thailand)

1.5 LX - hardtop - 5.2
1.5 LX+ - moonroof, honda sensing - 5.35 (oriel)
1.5 RS - moonroof, honda sensing, LED, with some extra bullshit - 5.7ish

Atlas has to win the negotiation with Japan to get discount on sensing hardware , CPU and sensors to cut the slice well.

Come on atlas guys!! you are more then blondes in suites.get the best deal out of them. dont make it like the 6th gen city. keep the example of sorento infront before planning the launch & commercials.

Honda sensing was a 1000 dollar option on USDM Civic X when it was not standard equipment. Later on it became standard across all trim levels of Civic X BUT the pricing didnt increase by $1000. It was almost static .

Just sharing how it was on US Civic in the past. I am sure the pricing came down as far as the hardware related to Honda sensing. It's now standard equipment on all models and trims in US / Canada.

I doubt theyll play such a gamble with their highest selling variant i.e oriel. RS is a sports version, in pakistan civic is mostly bought as a family car or company executive car. not giving the main features honda sensing, led lights and moonroof in oriel could be a backlash for them, a deadly one. i say this because RS variant would obviously come with a body kit, i doubt any late middle age person would want that. also, Civic x RS has been launched for quite some time now, still the ratio of RS to oriel on the road is quiet low.

For Honda, please keep a good check on quality compliance (feel like there should be a hashtag here for atlas to improve their quality, could be useful if everyone tagged that in every post lol :D)

Honda Japan is pressing to put sensing in all variants. but price is a factor in Pakistan.

Honda Japan should also press Atlas on QA/QC. The build quality needs drastic improvements!

Sorry was travelling. It's just something I picked up from the camouflaged Civic which pushed me to believe it is a CBU. Will share pictures for members opinion soon.

Seems on the higher side by atleast 0.2-0.3 MRs.

Every passenger vehcile in USA has side and curtain airbags and there is FMVSS standard for it.

Regardless for not being mandated , it's now a standard feature and every vehcile has it to achieve side protection required by government agencies.

Lastly, I still believe its importance more than any active safety features. I wish I could share pictures of my T boned accident, where my kids and I was saved from serious injuries because of curtain airbags.

Again, I am sharing my opinion and importance for the side protection. Side airbags are also standard in Thai, Indonesia, Malaysia and I hope we get it standard safety feature as well.

11th gen wala Honda sensing has better hardware and upgraded & faster version of Honda sensing as compared to 10th gen.

Well that does not change the pricing. The Civic XI is slightly expensive than Civic X by few hundred dollars for base three varaint BUT than it also carry more equipment as well comparing Civic X as far as USDM.

Side impacts carry a major risk since distance between head and side glass isnt that much. Curtain airbags ought to be made mandatory in Pakistan
