Finally, car left at khalid's to start the front and rear suspension and steering overhaul. In addition, also decided to do other misc repairs so as to get it to be reliable / everyday transport over the winters. these include Feul tank cleaning and repainting (in and out) and Brake job, including Master cylinder reconditioning. Thanks to Dr. Asad, who sent me, amongst so many other things, a NOS Dual circuit Brake Master Cylinder for a LHD 1303. thanks again, Dr. Asad.

front suspension taken apart. Shocks and Center arm sent to the machine shop for reconditioning. Needs new tie-rod ends as well as Ball joints. Had a set of tie-rod ends, but no ball joints, and couldn't source them at a short notice! As usual, frantic phone call to Storm, who gave me the new set he had bought to put in his car! Thanks again, Storm!
Steering box taken apart due to a flat patch while turning, rollers (of roller shaft) have small pitting of about 1/2 inch on one side. Need to find a replacement roller shaft!

Tie-rod ends and ball joints fitted on, and all metal parts, including Helper rods, etc. painted flat black. Shocks reconditioned at the machine shop, with new seals, new oil, etc. Painted flat black, and re-installed.
steering box sourced from the kabaria, has same problem! Khalid will try finding one on saturday.
