Abbasi bhai basically I want to see that the wheel cover is made simple or just like a pocket with zipper. As you already mentioned seems to be its the normal one. kahir jo bhi hy, main thing is the purpose of making cover is fulfilled. By the way by seeing your wheel cover idea am also planning for wheel cover for my cressida..

Faisal Sb. It is just a simple cover open from the bottom. No zipper. For your Cressida, there will most probably be a bolt going through the middle of the wheel to secure it to the trunk floor. So a similar simple cover will be suitable and cheap to make. Maybe one might be available ready made from your local "zeenat al sayarat" shops

So today as per plan I went down to the local motor mechanic ustaads in F-10 Markaz and got the chassis straightened. In the end it was not as complicated as I thought it would be. A chain and a long pipe did the trick. Here are a few pictures. Due to the mass of people surrounding the car and supervising the one guy who actually did the job, I was unable to get an action picture of the deed being done:). It seems that the ustaad delivered what he promised.

Chain wrapped around the bent chassis member and a long pipe to yank it down and lots of onlookers to provide visual assistance

Final look seems straight enough. Of course the real rest will be if the tire goes in or not

Well it must have been in some mystical way . In the end, what needed to be done got done.

And so the spare tire saga comes to a close. The tire is sitting in the tray comfortably as it was intended to.

Sir it does not rattle. However due to the low clearance of the car, the original spec calls for the end of the tail pipe be oval. In other words flattened out. My car is also oval but not as much as it should be. See the picture below of another 1-1/2 litre car. note the exhaust tail pipe and the Ace wheel covers. These wheel covers were an extra cost option at the time.

Nice car, Hard to make out the model from the little avatar picture. Which engine option? My cousin is an Audi man. He is looking to sell his S8 or A8, not sure which of the two. People who know their German cars prefer Audis over MBs and Beemers.

Nothing fancy... Its a 1.8L TFSI (170bhp)! Though as many reviews as I read, it seems that generally Audis are the least preferred amongst the German cars. Seems Audis are more like meant for people looking to "live off the beaten path".

Must acknowledge your meticulous enthusiasm on continuing to restore your vehicle. Kudos to you and keep it up
