When you have visitors from foreign countries it hels your economy as they use their money in your country and contribute to hotel bookings, laundry, shop keepers etc.

If I wanted to take advantage of this activity which you have called 'fazool' I could have made millions but for me its only a hobby and nothing more. Because of this hobby and our club, Pakistan is projected as a friendly fun loving nation to the outside world.......the rest of the 98% project the other side of Pakistan which is killing, bombs, rapes etc.

The rust thing from that wanna bee, ME too was not happy for it and always thought you have the eye to it, and did'nt knew that you are away and for this she was like that. thanks. This truck will be done in phases....phase 1 wll be a mechanical restoration with body tightened up as it is. Phase 2 will be derusting, denting and patching up.....followed by renewed upholstery, wheels, a/c, music system etc.....no paint. At this stage I 'll start thinking about the paint......perhaps matt black

Future plans?

plan to work slowly and piece by piece on the truck. Cant put in time and money at once....other projects going on too. After engine I 'll work on teh rear suspension as it is non existance. After that the front suspension followed by mounting the engine on the chassis. This is a 2 year minimum restoration if not more.

i know an old coupe in lahore which is in this condition. it looks like some old sports car but it has rust instead of paint. good luck on hte project.

When I bought the truck, a non original diff came with it....previous owner told me that he had planned to put a V8 in it and bought this diff from shershah. He told me that he had installed the truck's original in an another vehicle. So after a few months of convincing, I managed to convince the owner to let me swap a 6 cyll diff with the truck's original...its now back on the truck though just a temporary fit as the rear suspension i.e leaf springs set up is missing.
