Thanks for the appreciation guys, fender are arriving this thursday once we get them test fit along with fender skirts ( which i already have ) we will pass it on to the painter.
Final color will be Almond Green.

Its been a while without any update because of Rain in Islamabad, finally fenders have arrived (in Karachi though and will reach Islamabad in 2 days from now) and final work will end in 2 weeks time. I asked denter to check the rear seat area because i was sure that there will be rust there and yes i was right . New piece with same pattern was sent for crafting. In the mean while i was busy collecting engine parts as i will be going for stock 1200 cc engine instead of the 1600 cc which was installed by previous owner. I was able to exchange my old engine with a D1 series Mexican 1200 cc 40 hp fresh air engine locally which was missing some pieces. I got hold of a NOS fresh air exhaust and stripped it down and painted it with POR15 high temp paint. I myself stripped all the engine tin using paint stripper and painted everything with Satin Black paint. More pics to follow later....
Finally !!!!! Fenders arrived !!!! I have also passed on W decklid to Safdar for final setting, so from 2 weeks from now car should be with painter
Finally body work is over !!!! All 4 brand new fenders were test fitted, W decklid was just put there for pictures (Its only remaining for test fitting).

Fender skirts came with the installation mechanism attached, just placed them over fenders and tightened the three screws
Finally she left for paint !!!
In the meanwhile i received rebuilt Bosch Distributor and Solex 28 PICT-2 Carburetor.
As i write, Car is already with the painter. Just wanted to share few updates, fender skirts which i had brought from US were not fitting the way i wanted them to be because we installed new fenders and being Brazilians they have different curves as compared to original German ones so i asked Safdar to craft them from hand and he did and results came out great !!!

Thanks for liking it and it will take 3 more months to complete paint job. We are not going for Polar silver as we have one in Islamabad/pindi with same color (Nasir Bhai's Oval) now its Diamond Green to make it unique
