Few months back i had bought popout windows (2 sets) over ebay in very bad condition for peanuts but main issue was that those were in very bad condition with scratches all over them and with cracked seals.
Main reason for buying in such bad condition was that i was getting 2 sets for 1/4 of the price of a single new set. I found a company in Sharjah which specialize in electroplating so after removing all the seals both ouside and inside and extensive sanding i gave it to them for rechroming. Today i got them back and man they look amazing with shinny chrome finish.
In the meanwhile i had bought new seals both glass to frame and frame to body along with all new latches and hinges and hinge covers. I restored one window rest i will do tomorrow, here are some pics to show step by step process i followed. Special Thanks to my 2 years old son for helping me
