Before you ask, yep these two are NOT A PAIR (one is nightvision - LHS, the other is not - RHS; A minor design difference too), but who cares (May be I would start caring about these minor details when Patina project was all finished and everything was there on her)?

May I suggest a perfect fit, on the already available hinge pin on the Patina?

Now we have to do something about the ugly stub of an antenna you have in there. I'll see if I can pick up an antenna or just an antenna block off plate that comes in chrome with seals. at a swap meet.

Thanks to @nmshaikh, now I can head forward with Wiper Assembly Restoration which was on hold for last one and half month since the NOS Wiper Shaft Pivots were awaited from Canada:

Hold on...the wiper motor you have is a 6V unit! The wipers would be flying all over and not even park when you want them to. You need a 12 V motor or have this one converted to 12 V. You can still restore the rest of the set-up but at some point you'll need to replace the motor. You may also want to check the condition of the fastner that holds the wiper arm on to the wiper pivot. If it is a non genuine screw you may want to wait till you have a good wiper arm. A loosely held wiper arm would 'eat' at the pivot metal and you don't want that.

STOP PRESS...just noticed something else. These are the wrong pivots. You need the ones with a cylinderical shaft to which the wiper arm would attach. These are for a different model. I guess the restoration of the wiper assembly would have to wait. So sorry to put a dampener on your excitement. I'll check on the samba and send the correct ones in May.

Ah! the joy of reaching out in the box or on the shelf to grab the new part when you need it. ..only if you have collected everything you need.

I even have the screws, nuts, bolts and washers cleaned, de-greased, (and at one point cad plated) for when I am putting it all together. (there is a person in Rawalpindi who cadmium plates nuts and bolts. If you can get original spare hardware from the countless Dalda tins at the old repair shops you can have them treated and ready when your car is ready to receive them.)
