you may want to get the ride height adjusted in the back. The car looks like it has been raised a little. Part of the reason could be that the torsion bar bushings are worn out and to compensate the mechanics raise the car a half to one notch. Keep that on the list of things to do when you go see Khalid in rawalpindi.

the top of Generals should be tucked inside the fenders. May have to be done a few times to achieve the correct height both sides.

As have been already discussed, the silver beige stock steering wheel on Patina is in quite a bad shape. The Backlite has been chipped off from quite a few places in large patches.

Here are a few pictures showing the real condition of the steering wheel:

its the first time I've seen it chipped that bad. I have seen them worn pretty bad but never missing chunks. This is a job for Koch's. They remould the steering wheels but are expensive. I'll see if I can find one at the swap meets. The one I am going to in Effingham is the best place followed by the one we'll have at Niagara Falls towards the end of the month.

After the Front Turn Indicator Assembly has been removed, it was cleaned and was safely stashed away until it is time to mount it back on the right front fender. Here are a few pictures:

Can the notches be imbalanced...one raised than the other? Is it for real or is it the road, I am wondering. Will have to measure the height on both sides at the rear, I guess, to find out for sure.

it is quite possible. a difference of half a notch can produce significant difference. The drivers side is usually lower than the other due to wear so the mechanic may have raised one side more than the other...

You are not missing the point that she has been parked outside in the open for YEARS...in all kinds of weathers, are you?

I guess it was the cycle of expansion and contraction that the steering wheel went thru which resulted in the chipping away of chunks. Normally cars do go thru that but not on a regular basis and are thus spared this fate. Anyway I'll keep an eye on any clean ones at the shows

Yep, its the contraction/expansion cycle thing for sure.

The black post 68 piece that I had in my stash and was sent to @Storm earlier this month was an example of the spared one.

I wish I had better pictures than these but I dont.

the superficial cracks can be treated but the missing chunks can only be ...I don't know, maybe expose the whole metal ring and re mould it...because even if you did something tot he exposed ring/ missing chunk whats to wish that another chunk won't drop off as soon as you are finished 'finishing' the wheel??? maybe a replacement is the best way forward.
