the vinegar trick is used on old jags steering and suspension systems where aluminium and steel are used, galvanic corrossion is a b4stard to work with. And apply a little more torque without care - and your expensive british part becomes expensive british scrap.

Will surely let you know how the Petromin Ultra 7 performs and I am sure it would do great since everyone else among the group has been using it for a while. I think I better get some supplies of Ultra 7 for future, the next time I am in Islamabad.

You picked up FUCHS too or is it some other brand? If its FUCHS and is in silver can dont let your heart be troubled and confused about the different colors of the cans since the one you see above is May 2010 Production and later the company may have decide to change the packaging as its thought so conventional in the lube business to change the packaging every once in a while to avoid copies/immitationas being made of the product.

yup, i also bought FUCHS, even though i deal in petromin we don't have an SAE 90 (only 140) and FUCHS has very good lubricants as well (my direct competitor). As for the packaging, i think you are right. Romano thought it might have been a case of local packaging and imported packaging as FUCHS does most of its packaging in PK for locally blended products. khiar, as long as it's SAE90 in the can, i'm happy.

Nice work on the carb. Did you open the carb or just sprayed it for cleansing ? What chemical did u use ? and in Pakistan where can i find a carb rebuild kit for PICT 28 ?
