Isn't the pressure usually taken from the spare tire?

It seems to me that Volkswagen made quite an unreliable system for the windshield washer. What if there is a leak from where its connected to the valve switch? The area behind the dash would be flooded. And in your case, you would constantly need to get the reservoir re-pressurized. If you took pressure from the spare tire, wouldn't it render useless the purpose of a spare tire?

I am constantly reading this thread,I once had this car,its was very expensive to keep it maintained. I am in love with the technology car is built on. This was ordered by Hitler to make a peoples car for Germans. That is way the car has some genius and economical ideas in building it. The pressure washer is great idea.

It would have been wise to find a DIN style battery with a side vent to vent outside the car. But if you had prepared this one with pure distilled water and pure acid it would work sweet.

be sure to use a genuine oilite bushing for the starter nose, and dip it in some SC rated engine oil overnight, it soaks it up.

AGS, Exide, Volta, FB all had and have DIN style batteries, ask a proper battery vendor, they might be able to get one for you, the problem is that they are very rare and more expensive than the usual ones too.

I got GS batteries (sold by AGS Pakistan) DIN style for a Daewoo racer and a VW Golf too through a freind in Isb who bought them at some shop in rwp. They were dry and unused - he put them on a bus to Karachi where I got them. Filled with quality electrolyte, boost charge and a trickle overnight - PERFECT STRONG BOSSY batteries.
