1nzfe oil recommendation

My engine is now over 200000 km and it has started to decrease oil .I have been using total 5w30 fully synthetic oil (company recommends 5w30 or 10w30)

for the second time now yesterday I checked the oil level in the morning and the level was very low on the dip stick at 3000km(pic attached) my mechanic tells me to overhaul the engine but I am not convinced as I can't see any visible smoke or weak performance from the engine. I bought my oil from total parco station don't know if they sell genuine product. Plz recommend any good engine oil brand and grade this time I'll order it online from official store .btw there is no oil leak

Do you have japanese Corolla (Corolla X) or you swapped 1nz in local corolla as this engine never came in locally assembled Rolla?

Try Toyota Petron Plus, its 10W30.

You can try 10w40 if no oil reduction then stick to it

I just bought this engine oil for my 1NZ in se saloon
It is also reducing oil. Also your dipstick is different than mine. I think you should still stick to 5w30 if no visible smoke is there. Also check that if PCV valve is clogged or not. Better to just replace it with new one

Also I think 1nz has metallic dipstick not the one you have. I have checked the oem part number and its the metallic one

At 4000 km even toped up the remaining oil from the 4 liter bottle. But this oil isn't trustable that's why I bought from official store at Daraz

This time I will be using Toyota Genuine Oil filter as it almost cost the same as other junk local filters if you use it for 2 oil changes which it can easily handle. Parts central have it in 1000 rupees.

What oil did you used before petromin. What is your experience with petromin. Also how much pcv valve cost and where is it located on engine I'll replace it anyway also share part no or provide a link if available online.

According to the dealership the part number has been changed to yzzn2. Please confirm.

I just removed the valve It makes a rattling sound when I shake it .it was quite dirty so i cleaned it with some carb cleaner . I will be replacing it anyway

I asked a dealership in Karachi and they mentioned the above YZZE1 for 2nz and 1nz and it was costing 1250 from dealership

I haven't use petromin. This will be my First time. Previously using Mobil Super 5w30 synthetic technology not fully synthetic.

what is approximate quantity of oil reduced at 3000 km. please mention volume. dipstick is just a tool to identify oil level high / low in engine, not oil quantity. - over fill will be high low is for lower then recommended quantity signaling 'add more'

check for PCV valve functioning.

as you mentioned the high mileage and oil grade there is no harm to continue using the same grade oil. compression test is best way to find out if there is something wrong in engine

yzzn2 costs the same and dealerships in both Islamabad and Peshawar are saying that this part number has superseded the old part number due to alot of counterfeit available in the market for old part number.

Well I added aprox 1500 ml more and the level is near f Mark now. This time I am going to order petromin 5w30 full synthetic from daraz official store. I am not trusting these petrol station oil. I also removed the pcv valve It rattles on shaking one of my friend said to blow on the valve on both engine and intake side. Air easily passes through from the engine side while from the intake side it offers a little resistance but passes the air . I think it is not suppose to passes air from the intake side to the engine correct me if I am wrong
