By the way it looks like paksuzuki trying to phase out cultus by introducing a 9 lakh variant of swift .

AND i donot understand all the criticism of sx4.In my opinion it shall give much more stiff competetion to civic and corolla then any predecessor of suzuki sedan category.

It has amazing interior gives excellent horse power and is a feature enriched car with no major issues. I think it should be a success unlike baleno(brake/suspension problem) and liana( lots of diff stories about its defects though i doubt em to be true :P)

btw if the International Swift wasnt offered with a 1L Engine
there wont be one in Pakistan either

and 1.3L Swift has better Fuel Economy than 1L Cultus
but still our awam will buy the 1L Engine :s

they did the same back in 98-99 with Baleno.. a stripped version was available for 4.99 back then.. but somehow that stripped version wasn't so popular. was called Baleno EL or something similar.. lets see what our people do if they introduce a stripped swift priced same as a cultus, PS is getting the taste of its own medicine here actually.. people believe spending 600k on a mehran is worth just because its cheaper to maintain and has better resale.. Liana VURV has even low sales than the older Liana with all those discounts & value features that no one else offers in that class.

You know Baleno sales were quite reasonalbe back then but God noes what made Suzuki launch the EL version i guess that car ruined balenos market share

as its not easy to find a manual Vitz, Swift leads in that segment, many people dont prefer giving auto tranny cars to there drivers or rough useage, some belive auto trany isnt reliable at all. They prefer going for manuals.

But with the increase in traffic etc an auto tranny (optional) atleast should be provided.
