Atlas Honda Pakistan has launched a new 250cc bike in Pakistan. The bike in question is 2018 Honda CB 250F. It is the latest bike by Atlas Honda after the launch of 150cc CB 150F last year.
As the name of the bike suggests, Honda CB 250F comes with a 250cc engine. Like Benelli TNT 25, it is a single cylinder motor. The oil- and the air-cooled engine comes with dual overhead cams. The engine is mated it to a six-speed linear shift transmission. The bike is, of course, self-start.
As for the brakes are concerned you get single disc brakes both in the front and the rear. The front tyre is 110/70-R 17 M/C (54H), and at the rear, you get 140/70-R 17 M/C (66H). The 2018 Honda CB 250F comes with telescopic fork suspension in the front and monoshock swing arm suspension in the back.
The tank can hold 16.5 litres of fuel, and the bike itself weighs 135 kilogrammes.
Considering it is a CBU (completely built unit), the price is arguably on a higher side. The 2018 Honda CB 250F is priced at PKR640,000. Its direct competitors include both the Benelli TNT25 (engine wise) as well as the Benelli 302R (price wise). Suzuki has its 250cc Inazuma (twin cylinder) which is priced under 6 lac. And then there are various cheap Chinese bikes with same engine displacement.
The competition within motorcycle sellers in Pakistan is getting tougher and tougher. With the bulk load of various cheap Chinese motorcycles easily available in Pakistan it was only a matter of time when companies like Honda and Suzuki start launching bikes with bigger displacement engines.
