New city would be available August onwards.

You have two options

1. Book car now and get delivery in September. You can sell your current city in July .

2. Wait for next 06 months and then go for Yaris or city or any other option that may be available.

I would advise you to wait for 06 months as number of new entries in market are expected

I dont think would be any impact due to the fact that there is no 1.3cc engine in new line up.
So same case as GLI might be the price for 1.3 will go higher in demand due to engine.
1.2 will still be underpowered for sure for the body size if you are planning for 1.5 then its ok.
But im also holding 2019 manual city 12k driven lets see

Even Honda dealerships are not giving august delivery month they are giving for September . I have legit proof their employe saying sir august wali gariyan limited hai wo owner nay apny investment kay liye rakhi hai like what

1) If i deposit 1 million today and book city, when will Honda require full payment?
2) If later on i do not intend to buy it for any reason but have made only partial payment, can i pass it on to someone else?
3) If the answer to the 2nd question is no what is the cancellation penalty for Honda?

Went to the dealership today at 10:30 am to inquire about the 'new city'. They said that prices will be finalized after the budget. The delivery month for standard variants was September while for Aspire was October. By the time I reached there booking for Aspire variants for October was full.
Went to Honda avenue and they said that they had a quota of about 80 cars for October, 13 of which were aspire variants.

1.5L / ASPIRE delivery November 2021.
The 1.2L , October

And again paying premiums can get your earlier.

Official reveal with details in June. Possible arrival at dealership for viewing in July.

Why not Competion commission of pakistan can make it a law that until the product is displayed no amount can be collected in advance..how difficult it is to make this rule which is plain business ethics rule.

1) Usually remaining amount is required 2-4 weeks before delivery
2) you can sell the file unofficially (officially there is 1 lack tax for transfer within 90 days of Invoice) and if you'll sell it before taking delivery at the showroom, its likely that you'll also get the (a little less than the) market own rate --- usually the dealership purchase it back on half premium or you may post add on pakwheels/olx that car on showroom and sell it to 90% of premium
all of this is unofficial though... officially there is booking cancellation charges (usually upto 5% of advance payment) that'll be mentioned in your booking order terms and conditions

I was quite sure of getting 6th Gen 1.5 Aspire CVT but after this pathetic attitude of Honda and such late delivery, I am no longer interested. Passed on Yaris due to looks but seems like its the only option in this price range for now?

own mafia is the only reason, non tax paid corrupts will book this car in lines and people who have ample money will buy it like hot cake on own to show they got the first one.
