It is definitely spacious. Just before Covid I was in Malaysia for holiday and one of our rides on Grab was this 6th generation City, rode in the rear seat and my first impression was excellent leg space. Along with that what impressed me was rear vents (God send in extremely hot weather) and the quietness of the cabin. Personally I would not mind the decision to launch 6th gen here so much if we benefit from the low price and good build quality including rear vents and great cabin insulation, unfortunately knowing Honda Atlas we will receive a teen dabba gaari stripped of features and as we all know PKDMs have zero sound proofing. I have Honda BRV which has such horrible cabin noise that on the motorway two people can barely hear each other talk and music has to be played at a very loud volume.

To be fair, this is not so much the customer's fault as it is the government's. We should have a government regulatory body for the auto industry which should take strict action against things like pre-booking and on money. Instead of blaming the victims we should blame the lack of regulatory oversight in our industry that protects the rights of genuine consumers.

toyota yaris in india has rear AC vents but pakistan version dont have it. Pakistani models always fall short on built quality when compared to indian counterparts , yaris there is way way better but still a failure when compared to counterparts and a lesser yaris is best seller here.

Lets wait what honda atlas has in the city for us , rear space is sure good though.

the government dont give a damn about it. The say that cars are pricy but do nothing to regulate the automakers practices here. No efforts to curb the selling of unregistered vehicles by individuals here.

Sensible people will patiently wait until all this ON and advance booking rubbish is over and delivery time reduces to 30 days. That should be the scene in middle of 2022, hopefully.

Exactly. I remember the hype created for Toyota Yaris despite covid and people ended up buying by paying 250-300k own. Zyada puraani nahi exact 1 saal puraani baat hai. Now its available with delivery time 20-30days on booking.

I think interested peeps should do guzaara with their current car like me and wait for 5-6 months atleast cause I feel this delayed deliveries and “bookings khatam hogayee hain” is fake and created to promote own and nothing else. 2022 model city khareedein please.

Gotta respect indus for increasing production according to the market demand for yaris, no wonder we see so many of those on the roads these days. Unfortunately it seems like atlas loves keeping production numbers low to create artificial hype and sense of high demand.

It seems like 1.2 cvt is getting the most booking and interest from people. Honda salesmen were pushing me a lot towards it as well. Idk why our locals love having small underpowered engines.
