Brother you are absolutely right about the negative tactics used by the company.
But unfortunately many genuine buyers like myself are fighting against the profiteer "on" mafia and not the company itself.
I did prebook the car, as I have been waiting for it for over a year now and will definitely would have booked it upon launch.
Now that the company had given an option to prebook, many buyers like myself availed that facility.
I wish there is some way of knowing how many units were booked by genuine buyers who will use the car upon delivery, and how many were notched up by the mafia expecting to make money in a few months time.
I personally feel and am satisfied that I have done the right thing as I have beaten the profiteers.
Now I have the option of getting my deposit back upon launch if I don't like the car or price as suggested by another pakwheeler here,
Or to enjoy an early delivery of the car.
Obviously everyone's circumstances and thought process is different,
I respect the view of people who do not want to book the car prior to its launch,
In return I expect those friends to respect my decision.
Book early or late, but please make sure not to pay your hard earned money to the profiteer mafia.
