1.2 city with 89bhp engine and 1150kg body will still be better than 1.3 84bhp 1400KG corolla. So it wont be "underpowered" by any means

What's so special in it? Old shape... looks like a decade old thing... No excitement in it... Rear lights of Yaris are very beautiful, the LED Strip looks brilliant...

Yaris front is quite loaded, its only a matter of missing side skirts that initially made Yaris look odd... the entire bodykit is now available for as low as 10k...

Indus has once again taken the lead by bringing in the latest generation with optimal features in the under 300k price bracket.

I strongly believe that Honda City should be boycotted to stop Honda from dumping obsolete products in Pakistan. Our Money is equally valuable and since we pay the highest prices in the region to purchase cars, we deserve to get the latest and best products

Further booking cars without disclosing features indicates that they are not planning to provide the Standard International features... even if they do, this practice is unethical and provides showroom owners an opportunity to book cars at their own / employees name to later manipulate, create a shortage and sell at own... how is it possible that showrooms have booked beyond capacity without any proper advertising... i see it as the worst black marketing and criminal market manipulation

While Hondas marketing strategy might be unfair there's no doubt on the success of the upcoming 6th gen, 6th gen and Yaris went side by side in India and city left behind Yaris by a significant margin it's not even among the top 3 there. When it comes to technology both belong to the sams era neither is "outdated" . As for specs atleast I can say for aspire are expected to be on par with whatever Yaris is offering.
And finally when it comes to aesthetics well let the majority decide tho its obvious for me XD

Honda produces better engines. I think even 1.2l city will beat yaris 1.3 any day in terms of engine performance

I don't think at this stage they will give all these features. They will probably keep these to compete with next gen corolla 1.6.

But to compete yaris they would probably give only sunroof extra then yaris or rear AC vents.

Cruise and LED lights would probably come in PK facelift version.

City had the early bird advantage in India, it came in before Yaris, its the other way around here.

As for car success trends Pakistan never replicates India, Lancer was a success there, a flop here, Swift rules the Indian Market, it flopped here and so on and so forth...

We have similar taste to saudis, Yairs sells big time there and city is almost absent... With its hard suspension, lesser fuel average and unrefined noisy cabin i don't think City is a wise choice...

Rest let it come, the prime factor for success is pricing, if it is rightly priced, who knows i might sell corolla and buy city... 🤭
