That ground clearance seems better than current but only marginally. Why do they have the utility pack visors on a test vehicle.

Yes by the time the Grace facelift came it became too expensive to import Grace. Most on the road are pre-facelift.

They themselves take the car to the road and make videos to be viral.

Isn't our city slightly lifted. Our civic is definitely 2 inches higher than US spec.

So my guess for 172 rocker panel height was correct and then body clearance would be around 165

The PKDM Civic is around an inch higher than overseas Civic.

The local companies lift vehicles but the ESC if equipped
seems not retuned + suspension setup for local assembled vehicles. I have driven both the Pk Civic and the US spec local Civic turbo model and there is definitely difference in driving dynamics and one reason could be raised PK Civic , beside low quality tires from factory.

Definitely could be a reason, another could also be that when our local civic x launched i remember someone mention that the US spec civic had shifted to polyurethane bushings in the rear suspension which oura does not have as ours is still probably rubber. Idk the exact thing as it was 5 years ago but it was something super minor in the rear suspension and as per reviews it made a ton of a difference. Correct me if it's another part

USDM Turbo rear suspension has fluid filled bushings .

You cannot weld hood/boot/door endoskeleton reinforcement to the outer skin. It will never even out and will give an uneven finish. It is supposed to the glued.

PKDM Civic miss that.. USDM gets hydraulic filled bushing. The image is from official USDM press release from 2015 . Front fluid filled on all trims while rear also fluid on all Turbo versions.

Yes front and rear both gets hydrulic. Image shows just the front.
