The funny thing is that the price complaints are here even before the car has been released. Stop thinking of ridiculous price tags of 3.5 million. Itnay ki gaari sell karni hoti Atlas ko tou woh 7th gen city laatay. This car will be max 3.1 million, which is not too high, considering it already has more features than the base spec Altis 1.6 and Yaris 1.5 Ativ X. I mean, it has sold in very high numbers in the past. If they manage to get the feature set right, they might take something away from Alsvin.
The biggest problem with finding alternatives is the After Sales network. For people who are investing money long term, Toyota and Honda are the right choices. Instant availability of parts, large dealership network and a history of customer service (price is not the argument). Compare this to all the new entrants in the market. Firstly, car delivery times are through the roof. Secondly, the new entrants are being sold for way more than they are worth. All new entrants need to prove their worth and reliability. Overnight trust build nahin hota, Sure, Alsvin offers great features, but there are bound to be price cuts in comparison to Yaris and City. Do keep in mind, both Honda and Toyota are significantly larger organisations than any of the new entrants in the market. If you want to experiment, sure, go ahead. But don't discourage people who don't want to experiment. Yaris is a great car for its price. Lets see if the new City is competitively priced
