I have. Saw it at the showroom. The staff didn't allow me to start the car. Only sit in it. Acknowledged that it is a CBU unit on display. Quality was reasonable, the lid to pop the hood was broken. Sunroof seemed unfinished, open gaps welcoming rain-water inside the trim. Car was small, seat design was better managed in terms of space utilization than Yaris, seat was of reasonable comfort. Many people disagree with me on this last point because Alsvin has less cabin volume than Yaris.
Its nowhere near proven brands, City/Yaris with all their drawbacks are better buys than overpriced Chinese junk. The same stuff is sold for way less in other countries than they are offering here. Equivalent Chinese car sells for the price of cars 1 class below. So let Alsvin run for a year or so, and then decide.
At this point, reliability and longevity is not something we need to worry about in City or any other Honda/Toyota/Japanese brand.
